paul, I'm betting that's where themes come into it.

This is looking awesome, XBMCG33K.

I did follow the pages and pages of people whinging about the old logo (bottom-right) and don't mean to bring that up again but I don't quite understand the Live reference in the XBMC Live logo?

Will this perhaps show up while plugins, scripts, weather, things that are "live", etc are in use? Or does it just switch between the two on a timer/whenever?

They look very nice either way.

j/k it looks really good cant wait to see it in action.

Question Can you use your own backdrops and change the stage colour manually?
I'm guessing the answer will be yes at least i hope soSmile

Yes there will be if my count is still accurate a total of 12 stage colours available to the user.

If you have ever used MC360, XBMC LIVE was used to download themes for that skin directly to your platform/xbox. Things such as sound packs, stage colours, and wallpaper packs will be available from there. I do believe we still plan on having an option for a clock instead of the globe. Plus it looks really cool man Tongue

You can see some of it in action right here: http://teamblackbolt.co.uk/projdetails.php?id=4

Click the video near the bottom right Smile

Sounds great and the option to have the clock at the bottom would be great also.
Whatever you decide i am sure it will still be great and i am itching to see it for real like all followers of this threadSmile

looks pretty slick.
will there be different views that you can set your screens to?
i ask be because i only see the one in the images on the website and in the video and it seems kind of obtrusive and all but buries the fanart with the movie info.
im not trying to nitpick but ive spent probably as many hours making fanart as some skinners have spent making new skins and id like to be able to see what ive created while im flipping thru my movies Smile

This is one of the screenshots available that looks like a fanart view: http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv356/teamblackbolt/XperienceFanGuide.jpg

Yes we have a FanGuide and an InfoGuide, as well as list, wall, and poster view. Big Grin

Though of coarse some of those viewtypes are far from finished. You will see more as it develops

- XBMCG33K - 2009-09-07

Three of the 5 views available for video library sections.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but I'm pretty sure this is a feature question for xbmc (not skin dependent). You may have better luck asking over here: XBMC Feature Suggestions
