Thanks for this great add-on. I have installed the 奇艺视频(QIYI) add-on. It loads normally but when I click on a TV series, it shows up an error. I can't get into the episode listing. Hopefully you can help.

How To Use

Install Repository

To install the repository, you need to download the latest repository zip file repository.xbmc-addons-chinese-1.2.1.zip. And then:
  • Launch XBMC
  • Navigate to System | Settings | Add-ons
  • Select Install from zip file
  • Browse to the directory where the new downloaded zip file is being stored.
  • Select OK

For proper Chinese text display on xbmc, do the following steps:
  • Launch XBMC
  • Navigate to System | Settings | Appearance | skin
  • Change skin-font to "Arial based"

Install Add-ons
  • Click Get Add-ons
  • Select Chinese Add-ons Repository
  • Select the appropriate Add-ons from the display categories
  • Click to install the Add-on

First can I thank you for this amazing project.

I want to access this for my Chinese wife as it might help her with homesickness.

However, I am an utter noob and I’ve tried pointing it to various attempts at a file path and nothing opens when I use my Kodi TV app.

Could you add a step or state clearly what file path you need to use for the Kodi TV app is?

I think I’ll be ok despite my noobdom after being given the URL to be used on the Kodi TV app is offered for adding the file path correctly.

If so, did you use a VPN with a Chinese IP address?

Thanks for this job. From what I have been reading online it has been working for many of us through several years.
I have been trying to get it to work on my Kodi as well however:
- the zip file linked to the most recent download is almost empty (15 ko)
- I tried other zip file with more contents. When importing the .zip from Kodi, it returns a "installation failed" status. In the log it has a error 22 reported.

Any support on fixing all this would be great.

Can you help with subtitles always failing to extract? Especially using makedie.
Most of the other services do not find any subtitles as well.

I installed 2.0 version for KODI 19, but some of subtitle plugin e.g. SubHD does not work, the error message is incompatible with kodi19
