nartac Wrote:OK. I figured it out. If I entered the password in the password box and then press done, the password will not keep. BUT if I enter the password and then click on another boxes like IP address or Title, then the password is kept and turns into dots. You can then click on done and it works from there on.

Yeah known issue, been there for a while.

This is the missing part in my setup.
I currently use my iPhone (os 3.1.2) to control xbmc running on linux, got notify working great on my iphone and am trying to setup EG > xbmc.

Problem is, the python script isn't working. (At least I hope/think notify>EG is working fine...I see my events in the log [incoming call])
Now, I'm a complete n00b when it comes to python...But I keep getting these errors:

4:59:00 PM Traceback (most recent call last):
4:59:04 PM Python script "5", line 20, in <module>
4:59:04 PM if parts[1] == "CallAccept":
4:59:04 PM IndexError: list index out of range

I didn't want the SMS stuff in the script so I got rid of that but that shouldn't cause any problems.

Here's my host info and the event and parts bit...I don't have a password on my xbmc...would this cause a problem?

##XBMC Host Info##

host = "192.168.0.6:8080"
username = 'xbmc'
password = ''

#####

event = eg.event.suffix
parts = event.split(".")

Help Sad

Hi,
I report the same problem.
I use a script from the first page and everything else I have exactly the same. I tried to modify the script but without success.
Thank you for your help

1) Those scripts are just samples, I don't support them, the feature itself works fine as you said you are getting the notification inside EG. Having said that I've updated it to what I believe is right, but did not test. Check the new link on the first page.

2) If people do have good working scripts please share them with everyone else.

Please send me the link for the beta repo, i purchased notifypro 1 month ago

- BlueCop - 2010-08-30

Hey johoja I bought notify pro a while backing hoping it would display notifications at a similar time as the beep on my phone which I hear while charging in the other room. The problem is the delay because the display of notification and the actual event. It seems like I am waiting 10 seconds or so which is too long for me but maybe that is normal.

I am using iPhone 4 and a pre darhma build.

Nope that is a bug, that has been fixed in the beta repo, I'll pm you the link you can add it, should solve that problem.

Hi Johoja!

You may remember me from a few months ago, helping the beta testing!
Since then, I've now got an iPhone 4. However in cydia its not picking up that i've actually bought the app :S!!
Could you reissue the liscence or whatever you have to do!! Big Grin
Thanks Smile

Hey johoja, here's one more request for the pro beta repo. I bought it a while back and stumbled upon this thread. Can't wait to get it up and running. It's and great app, thanks.
