Hi There
I trying to set some samba shares on my ubuntu box
in smb.conf I have:
[test1]
path = /media/sdb/test
writeable = yes
; browseable = yes
valid users = nikolaj
[test2]
path = /home/nikolaj/Desktop/test2
writeable = yes
; browseable = yes
valid users = nikolaj
accessing it from a XP pro or another ubuntu works fine, but XBMC live can only access test2
Any ideas?

It was due to folder permissions
