Yeah in that sense, the color is random
I'm not sure how one would go about doing that ... except for just getting a Philips TV with ambilight

How much storage space do you have in total then? Of course I could just calculate it my self, but I'm not familiar with RAID6 and how much space is "wasted" there for parity.

Got a Sony with custom made 'ambilight' using the boblight software, several rgb led-strips and a controller like this.
Use a different controller myself but that one works like a charm.
