My HT setup - Thurbs - 2010-04-10

Image

This electronics setup was done on a budget of about ($2,000, I think), it sounds and looks great. This was done on a remodel in my basement, and is not new construction all wires for surrounds and back surrounds are in the crown moulding. I pulled new power for the receiver and sub. The floating shelves I built and will hold about 100 pounds each.

The Twilight Books ARE NOT MINE!!! they are the wife's.

Zotac MAG PC-perfect for xbmc.
47" Vizion LCD
BIC America Sub, center, and surrounds great speakers for the price...and are equal to my friends more expensive Polk's.
Onkyo SR606 Receiever and the fronts are my speakers I have had for about 15 years, the still are in awesome condition and sound wonderful.

Hey all, ive been browsing the forums during my XBMC setup and have never found the opportunity to make my first post. So here i am showing my setup!

4GB Kingston DDR3 1600Mhz

Directly behind that wall is the boiler room (aka "control center"). Sitting on that shelf is a Mediasonic 4 bay external enclosure housing 3 HDDs with 6 TB's of media set to go on/off with the Zotac Zbox connected via USB.
