Just wanted to drop a line to thank andy for putting this package together.

For those of us that aren't incredibly comfortable in the world of terminal commands, kextloading, etc, this was a lifesaver. Between your work and some great instructional pics on installing the broadcom card from another member, I was able to get the card installed and up and running on 1080p content on my ATV in under an hour total.

Now, I get the feeling that installing my other card in my old 1.66 GHz Mini will be a somewhat more painful proposition, but I digress.

Thanks again!! Smile

This does not appear to work for me.

defaults read com.teamxbmc.xbmclauncher
{
XBMCAdditionalDownloadPlistURLs = (
"http://crystalhd.sartori.at/files/???.plist",
"http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/Info.asp",
"http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/osx/update_urls.plist"
);
}

I don't see any crystalhd option under my downloads section.

I've tried some of the manual methods and have had luck in getting the driver (1.01 version) to recognize (from dmesg below)
http://forum.xbmc.org/images/smilies2/confused1bb.gif

BroadcomCrystalHD:Confusedtart
BroadcomCrystalHD: Found HW and started driver SW.

Debug log: http://yourpaste.net/5490/applelog

Platform info:
Appletv
Tried latest xbmc from http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/osx/update_urls.plist
Broadcom Crystal HD card
Other info in debug log.

did you reboot after adding it ?

Problem fixed - newer driver used - gatv_user - 2010-05-23

I went through the manual method again, but with the 1.0.3 driver. Works like a charm. I found another post somewhere yesterday asking why people were still downloading the 1.0.0 driver so I took that as a hint.

I had no luck getting the 'easy install' driver loaded in my download section.

Thanks for the reply!
