Not that I can tell. Would be nice though...

Balth - what system are you running? I only ask because I am running a Vista X86 set-up with ATI HD4670 (CCC 10.1) and all I get with DXVA running is audio and a black screen (no video).

I am actually traveling right now so I am using my laptop. It is a C2D P8600 @ 2.4ghz and a nVidia 9800M GS.

Will this in the future support/enable inverse telecine? I have a tv that can only display at 60hz

Thanks mate -

Anyone running ATI successfully with any of the builds since DXVA implementation?

I did have some success (all be it with green pixelation on some files) with the initial build but somewhere between there and now I have encountered the audio - no video scenario - currently running the most recent nigthly build r27482. Standard implementation works flawlessly.

The major green screen issue have been solved. Thank Balthazar2k for pointing me in the right direction! I was missing to backport a fix in ffmpeg upstream
Nice work elupus!
And the problems with corrupted video at the first seconds is gone too.

They will return if you fast forward. For some reason when we try to speed up decoding by skipping certain frames, we end up skipping important frames.

The half screen issue i've never seen. Looks abit odd i agree. I've myself have some issues with raw blueray stuff. No clue what it can be yet.

For what it's worth, on my 4890 I have pretty much the same scenario. Very few movies work good, the majority does black video with audio, some crash XBMC...

Thanks Ashlar - nice to know its not a scenario restricted to my machine - Elupus d'you want a log or are you ahppy to work with what info you have?

if u want i can add a log ...

Will this (in the future) work with Windows XP?

I would like to use Windows FLP as it is extremely fast booting and perfect for ION systems: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Fundamentals_for_Legacy_PCs

Logs are sadly quite pointless. dxva doesn't tell what is failing.

And no, requires vsita or windows7

Wow... really? It must be a nightmare to develop. I'm sorry to hear this. Confused
