- toker - 2010-02-07 Audio levels fixed yet in build 27500? Its very low as of the last 2 nightly builds. - theuni - 2010-02-07 toker Wrote:Audio levels fixed yet in build 27500? On topic please. Search and you'll find the answer. Hint: Fixed in next nightly. TheUni - AzzX - 2010-02-07 ATI HD 4350 Athlon 4400XP Catalyst 10.1 Everything plays besides certain 1080p encodes and various mkv's I also noticed the ghosting ringing effect around people and objects - particularly noticeable if moving fast. - lestat1977uk - 2010-02-07 Hi i have installed the latest SVN (27505-dx.exe) but can see no option for changing the render method to DVXA2 Can any one help - Frederic - 2010-02-07 cyradix Wrote:When I enable the "Adjust display refresh rate to match video" option all x264files I play are very choppy/stutters (at 3-5% cpu, but the picture stutters like it's not accelerated) I have the same issue (acer revo ion win7 x64 - 27500). When trying a second time, xbmc was unresponsive and I had to kill the process. Also the rate chosen by xbmc was 23hz whereas when I tried with the dsplayer build I got 24hz. - SlaveUnit - 2010-02-07 lestat1977uk Wrote:Hi i have installed the latest SVN (27505-dx.exe) but can see no option for changing the render method to DVXA2 What OS are you running? - lengis - 2010-02-07 +1 Not working on Intel G45 (GMA 4500MHD) No change in cpu usage when enabling DXVA... Tried 27394, 27482 and 27500. With the dsplayer i get about 50% decrease in cpu load But i have no doubt that this will be sorted in the near future. Keep up the good work! Regards Lengis - Buckster - 2010-02-07 I'm not getting anywhere with latest SVN build either - in logs getting lots of audio errors where I am getting black screens - will post details later. Some content works, but most 1080p H264 content does not Windows 7 64 bit edition, Gigabyte mobo with integrated 9400 GPU. am I right in thinking that none of the new upscaling entities work either ? whether you are set to DXVA or Standard - my frame rates do odd things like go to 1/2 multiples etc - steelman1991 - 2010-02-07 lestat1977uk Wrote:Hi i have installed the latest SVN (27505-dx.exe) but can see no option for changing the render method to DVXA2 Go to Settings\Video\Playback\Render Settings - option is there. - toker - 2010-02-07 Just tried svn build 27527. Audio levels are back to normal now. yeah! :-) WMV (VC1), MKV (H.264) OK BBC iPlayer (even HD streams) OK Apple encoded h.264 files results in blank screen, audio plays for 5 seconds before XBMC crashes. Still issues with Apple Trailers (bottom third of screen green / corruption). Great work, guys. - athloni - 2010-02-07 toker Wrote:Just tried svn build 27527. Also half green screen on some of my MKV files using ATI 4350. I made a sample of the file with this problem. Download: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W9Y59C17 Maybe some one can test this file with NVidia? Also a screenshot of the problem: - toker - 2010-02-07 athloni Wrote:Also half green screen on some of my MKV files using ATI 4350. Tested on ASRock 330HT (Nvidia ION CPU) on Win7 x86 - Driver v:195.61 Plays fine on build svn 27527 - bleze - 2010-02-07 Seems to work pretty good About 1-2% CPU usage on my i7 with HT enabled. I just have a frame of green garbage upon start and stop of movie - not always but often. Everything I've tried has worked fine on my 9800GT. I might make the switch back to Windows from Linux soon Thanks! - rinse82 - 2010-02-07 steelman1991 Wrote:Go to Settings\Video\Playback\Render Settings - option is there. Should I be seeing an option for 'DXVA2'? I only see DXVA, do I have the wrong version of DirectX installed? Having issues with 1080p mkv's where it'll just go to a black screen and I just hear audio - elupus - 2010-02-07 the dxva option is right.. was to lazy to add a 2 at the end |
