currently im using XBMC-SVN_2010-03-10_rev28472-T3CH on my xbox
so should i downgrade my xbmc and using transparency! r260

hi ronie. any idea what features wouldnt work on the xbox. the reason i ask is because iv tried the latest T! SVN version on the latest xbox build and it seems to run fine, apart from a few memory problems but switchin off views solved alot of this. oh yeah and clearart dosent seem to work but cdart does.

you can use any xbmc version you like, but xbox users should stick with T! r260

for the clearart issue, i would need a Debug Log. :-)
if you run the latest T! svn on the xbox, you will have issues with several dialog windows (movie info / script & plugin settings...)

Are you using the old media folder or storing in the root of the tv show as clearart.png?

Just for info it seems if you update to the later XBMC builds then try to go back to an older version that was fully working it takes the problems with it. For example i was using the latest SVN and thought i'd try going back to 9.11 and its a no go it works perfectly but exactly the same problems still exist (for example the cant load RecentlyAdded.py), so if you upgrade be prepared to have some problems for a while till the devs get things sorted out.
This is my experience maybe wont do this with you but just a possible warning.

storing clearart.png in the TV shows foler. i noticed cdart.png is picked automatically now from each albums folder. (they must have introduced a "get file location" command to the skining engine, because before i had to mod the workarounds xml to go with my folder structure. Im assuming clearart uses the the same "get file location" command and pulls from the individual TV show folder. maybe im wrong and it doesnt autodetect it and its just my folder structure that is causing it.

enable debug logging and check the log file.
it should tell you exactly where the skin is trying to locate the images. ;-)

Also skin settings are back via the latest nightly build
