Hitcher Wrote:I installed Navi-X and found the menu you're talking about unfortunately it's nothing to do with the skin and is part of Navi-X.

Hmm,
Any idea why it work on cirrus, flux and default etc and just not Alaska?
It's working fine when I switch skins so just assumed it was skin related... I'll mention it to ironbill and see what he says... Hopefully it'll get sorted one way or another Smile

where can i get just the skin as a .zip.

im trying to install in ATV2 and installing the repo on there it doesn't show up.

- Hitcher - 2011-12-13

You'll need to 'Force Refresh' the repo if it's empty.

Just a short one - will there be an update for the new weather addons?

Cheers,

No, that'll come with the next Alaska.

Hey Hitcher,

Got conformation that the previous posted issue is indeed a skin related issue. I got conformation from iron bill (navi-x team) via pm and was wondering if you would take a Look at it again.

Again, as I mentioned previously, this issue is only apparent with your skin and navi works perfectly with other skins I've tested.

Hope you get time to look into it,

Cheers,
Pat~

I've enabled debugging and when that box is displayed it's this XML that is open -

XBMC\addons\Navi-X\resources\skins\Default\720p\CBrowseskin.xml

I've no idea Laugh

He says it's a skin issue, you say it's a plug-in issue..All we know for sure, is that it is broken Sad

Is there anyway it can be fixed? Do you know how to fix it?

I'll post back to him explaining your results/findings and see what he says...

Cheers,
Pat~

Hitcher,

Did you get anything useful information from my log pastes?

- Hitcher - 2011-12-16

The way they're launched needs a major overhaul but that wont happen for Revisited.

Hitcher,

Ok, thank you for the information.

Well, as the items do get launched when added into submenus in Alaska I can live pretty fine with that situation.

As I am not a programmer guy I was just wondering that is there a certain reason that the launching procedure fails when adding the item as a home menu item.

I thank you once more for the information and close my mouth now on this one Smile.

Thank you for making this nice looking skin. Will stick with it. Thanks!

Hey all,

Another small bug in this skin Hitcher... When using the plugin TVCatchup and selecting a tv channel, the channel will play as expected. However when you exit out of the channel by pressing stop or back out of the channel so that it's p,acing in a window, you are unable to control xbmc.

It's impossible to scroll up or down or navigate through the menus?

This seems similar to what happens with the inability to move when using navi-x when the popup menu appears?

Any ideas on this?

It can be replicated every time by installing tv catchup 144 and then selecting any channel, then either close that channel or minimise it into a small video window. The skin will not allow you to navigate through your list/menus?

Hope you get a chance to look into it,

Cheers,
Pat~

Edit
Bug:
When listening to music and CD art is enabled and the milk drop screen saver kicks in (or you manually switch to it) the spinning CD falls outside the Album picture.

It appears that the Album picture is being squished down to perfect square when Infact in the home screen view of the Album picture is more rectangular in shape (taller than they are wide).

A little help please? I'm using the lastest pre eden nightly build with 3.0.1o.

I'm unable to get to video addons? I go to videos in the home screen, and i dont get video addons there. Whatsup?

Hey,

One thing I've noticed is the following, don't know if this is the intended behavior or not.

Under the "Movies" home screen item, I have 2 custom sub-menu items that point to Smart Playlists, so I have Movies/English/Hindi (by pressing down on the remote when on the Movies item).

Now, for example, If I go into "English" and I navigate around (lets say I pressed Right on my remote 5 times), then if I go back to the home screen and now select "Hindi" sub menu item, it has also moved right 5 times from the last item I left it at.

Is it possible to have the selection remain independent for each smart playlist so when you navigate it one and go to the other, it has not shifted positions from where you left it last?

Thanks
