I could always add something in so if they are registered on the site it adds their username in the database, and if it gets approved/denied it sends them an email, but if they haven't registered theres no way to notify them, unless you can think of a way?
*edit* or when an image is denied could have it come up with a text field for the reason and it gets moved to a denied area for a month or something before being deleted (or could do both)

Well I do this kind of thing every day for work, also, i may have made it sound easy, but it will probably take a couple of days to finish all the bits.
So far its:
- API
- Allow upload to established series
- Search by name
- Change name to Logos
- Denied logos goes to denied area for month
- If user is logged in attribute images to their username and send notifications
- Figure out best way for batch downloads
- If request already has a series bring up series overlay

mcborzu: dont worry about them, they all look perfectly formed, there should be no problems scraping those. I'll try it now.
I'm going to run something to purge all the broken ones i have at the moment, then i'll find out which ones I'm missing and why
ppic: good point, do you want just a text messag of "not found" or a proper 404 Not Found? Either is 5 seconds to implement, so its up to you.

i've got a problem atm when im scraping, just trying to fix it at the moment, so if anyone notices any weirdness thats why.
Also mcborzu, does the server the images are currently on support php? if it does i could create a small script to put on your server so when an image is added here it tells the script and the script copys the image from here to yours, so there's always a backup if you want.

I got a pretty good hosting plan and before my hobby became XBMC I set up a pretty good family website but then nobody used it, they still emailed pics and what food to bring to Thanksgiving back and forth, lol...
Short answer yes, no need I'm pretty trusting, as long as you got a good backup in case your site crashes that should be good enough...
