mcborzu Wrote:1. I Dont have genre fanart support
2. In the view options for any skin, pressing the opposite way of scrolling, there are options to sort by Accending or decending. Pick the opposite of what you got now.
3. I probably overlooked that

thanks for the quick reply

oh ok, since I saw an option to show fanart, tought the skin supported genre fanart.

Already had tried the sort thing but still the same, its not a big deal anyway

Keep up the good work!

I like this idea a lot. Right now they look like mini dvd cases Tongue

I've been trying out some of the recent nightlies(r31689), and now I can't seem to get Night working any longer. I unzip the folder into the addons folder inside XBMC as I've always done, but I can't find it under skin addons , only Confluence.
Any I doing something wrong?

Win 7 32bit.
Thanks , love this skin!

Your usind the zip.
For Latest releases of XBMC use the GIT repo

I purposely took out the addon.xml and whatnot for the regular/zip download so I wouldn't be flooded with incorrect bug reports...

Yea git is the only way for 10.5 support. I might throw up a .zip for 10.5 for people still having trouble with git tonight...

you don't need, already available here automatically Wink http://passion-xbmc.org/downloads/skins-nightly-builds-passion/night/102

mcborzu Wrote:From the log you're on an older build before a specific function was added, you need to be above 27711. Older build skins had to use a confusing and not always working workaround for cdART:

Now after 27711 they added "folderpath" it's real simple:

If you're not a big script/plugin user I'd recommend the newest SVN. The SVN's are pretty solid now, just the new addons are thin at the moment. If you are then probably hunt around for 28256...

You got to be f'ing kidding me lol!!! I swear I just updated XBMC just a few months ago... I got the update from here, is this a good place or is there a more recent/better ver?!?

Also the weirdest part is that CDart was working fine on the build I had, up to a few weeks ago. Then it just stopped working, since I only use your skin.. I thought that it was an updated ver. screwing things up.. I will update both and see what happens...

Thanks for the heads up!

D/L Git & gave it a go, but it came up "you appear to have cloned an empty repository", and " no such file"

Was this meant for me? How do I install this (my French is a wee bit weak..lol)

updated: Ah yes! Got it, many thanks for this link! Working now.

- mcborzu - 2010-07-10

Just put a link on the front post to the XBMC-Passion zip file of Night, 10.5 compatible....

Ok I updated and now I guess I have to use GIT now lol.. Oh well.. Seems all my skins now have to be in the add-ons folder Sad. And now I get CDart back Big Grin! YAY!! But I still don't get fan art Sad.. boo! And the weirdest thing is that the watched overlay disappeared :S.. WTF?!? Why would that happen? It worked before.. I don't know.. it's like I take two steps forward, and four steps back lol!

Well unless you used that export watched data script or whatever I think you might have lost it...Or just make sure you have it enabled in skin settings.

I had trouble 2 weeks back with XBMC scrapping my music fanart but last couple builds were fine.

In a tough boat on that one:

1. It sort of ties all those 3d looks together to keep them the same
2. But it would be more realistic to put the cases on the left for Music section

Both arguments are good in my eyes. In time I'll probably try out the cases on the left...

can you remove .pyo files from source ?

ppic Wrote:can you remove .pyo files from source ?

I just redownloaded the script and they weren't in there, yet they we're in the Night/scripts folder...

Are those .pyo files something that gets created after a user runs the script?
