jisgek Wrote:Ok Sorry,

I went into the GUI and activated debugging.
After that, I did all of the above (including the deletion) again.

Here is the new log
http://pastebin.com/fmF7Pn3L

Code:
00:15:38 T:4300 * ERROR: XFILE::CFile::Cache - Failed write to file Z:/Series/Two And A Half Men S07 720p/Two.And.A.Half.Men.S07E02.Whipped.Unto.the.Third.Generation.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-tK.nl.srt

XBMC fails to save the subs to a movie folder, looks like your permissions are not correct.

XBMC fails to save the subs to a movie folder, looks like your permissions are not correct.

When i see the message that is what it says. But i don't think its true.
Did some more tests:
I Shared my network drive with the option "share without account" (I Use a USB Drive connected to my router as "NAS") so no network account or anything like that is needed and everybody can freely connect from my local network. Mapped a new drive W: to that disk and tried to get the subs working. To bad no result Sad

After that i got back to the original setup to share with account (Username and password are the same as the Windows login) And made a new SMB Share, and even put in the credentials over there. No result.

Also uninstalled Windows Live Sign-in Assistant as mentioned in this (outdated?) article http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=SMB

Windows can read and write files to the mapped drive at all times, and for XBMC it is possible to delete files and folders from the mapped drives.

Maybe its a bug in this new Eden Beta1 and Windows mapped network drives? I don't have used any earlier version of XBMC so i cant tell.

When i put the video on my local drive D: the subs are showing.
I give up. I will download the subs manually again. Tnx for the help so far!

you can set the addon to download subs to your D: drive as well, Addon Settings -> Advanced -> Subtitle Download Folder Same As Movie , unselect that and set the folder to something on your D: drive

Hi there.

I am having trouble finding swedish subs (at undertexter and swesub).
I know the subtitels exist at the sites, but the addon cant find them.

It has worked like a charm earlier. But today the addon wont find any.

The addon still finds english subtitels at opensubtiles, so it apears that it is only an issue with swedish (i have only tried swedish and english)

Suggestion?

I made a share on my windows computer, and tested, then the subs are showing to. So it must be a problem with my hard disk attached to my router.
I want to buy a real nas soon so i quit testing.

After that i tried your last tip (i didn't even thought of that) and it worked! So this is good enough for me now at the moment.

Tnx again for the great plugin and the help Big Grin

can you confirm that you have Z:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.xbmc.subtitles\resources folder?

also, can you tell us whats in it if its there.

try unpacking the zip from http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/dharma/script.xbmc.subtitles/ and install manually into Z:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\

Thanks for this addon! It is really useful and works wonderfully.

I have only a small problem with movies on Navi-X. Because most of the movie files found in Navi-X are not properly named, I have always to do a manual search (which is very uncomfortable with a Apple TV remote when movies have long titles).

Have anyone here found a fix for this?

Thanks for any help.

herrflick Wrote:Have anyone here found a fix for this?

what exactly would you consider a fix for the issue? Navi-x doesnt have a name, only way you can search is by manually entering the name... short of us typing it for you, not sure what else we could do. Smile
