i'm trying to get this to work in the latest svn build (or any svn build for that matter) on my mac. Using r31103 right now.

If i go to system > add-ons > get add-ons > xbmc.org add-ons nothing happens, i'm only seeing an empty screen after +- 15 seconds. Am i supposed to configure the add-on repository somehow? A manual download of the script isn't working either (path is ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC/addons)

Can anyone help me with this?

I search subs and select them, but when he tries to resume the movie it quits xbmc. Without an error but just the apple-logo (running on ATV)

Im running on the last build (15 june) and the newest subs scipt (15 june)

here is the xbmc.log
http://pastebin.com/8Gv5tNya

sometime it happens too when i try to fire up the script.

if i can give more info, please tell me what to give Smile

I am using it on ATV as well without any issues, I think that issue is SMB.

can you reproduce it easily? what happens if you run a movie from ATVs HDD?

context menu(right click, or "c" on the keyboard) on xbmc.org addon repository and force refresh

issue is not with the script, please start the new thread if it fails and remember to include the debug log

Just stopping by to say MANY THANKS for this script!

had problem using it with yesterday's nightly (20 june) because didn't appear the "video osd" option in the skin settings menu in order to activate button.

Anyhow today with the latest nightly works like a charm, thanks!!Big Grin

****Edit: the problem i had was just because of MediaStream skin, wich didn't support the subtitle button******

thanks for the script, works beautiful. The only thing is that for dutch subtitles, that best site is http://www.ondertitel.com but i don't think they have an api.

So i would like to request support for ondertitel.com if that is possible....sorry i have no coding skills Sad

Really? I always thought this one provided the most subtitles: http://www.nlondertitels.com/
Maybe things have changed....

XMBC Subtitles works great with nightly builds. I can access podnapisi.net

With Opensubtitles OSD 1.52 and XBMC 9.11, I can`t access podnapisi.net... What is the problem?

I`m using Core 2 Duo 6750
2 GB DDR2 800 MHz
GForce 8600GT
ADSL 1024/128 kbps
Windows XP SP2 (Automatic updates)
XBMC 9.11

Cheers!

And one little request...

When I`m watching media from internet and when I want subtitles for that movie, TV show... because most of that media have address like

http://www.something.com/982374234204982409284.avi,

subtitles could not be found, because search string is http://www.something.com/982374234204982409284.avi,
not the name of the movie.

I have to manually input name of the movie and because I`m using remote control it is very annoying to delete http://www.something.com/982374234204982409284.avi and then type name of the movie. It would be nice if the search is blank in that case.

It would be even better if it`s possible that somehow real name of the movie could be recognized.

I`m using Nav-X script in XBMC for online media and there is the real name of the movie before I play it.

Thanks in advance!

I will see what can be done on that front, shouldn't be too difficult.

Thank you very much brate Big Grin

I very excited to see those features in new XBMC Subtitles Big Grin

For some reason XBMC nightly builds are working quite slow on my system that is the only reason why I`m using OpenSubtitles OSD 1.52.

there was an issue in some win builds of XBMC, that was fixed in 31349 by elupus. get over to nightlies and the 31349 is there.

Let me know if you have more issues.

Pozdrav brate Big Grin
