Hi there, thanks for this great add-on.

I only had one issue you may be able to fix.
I stream movies from a read only smb share, leading to the problem that the add-on can't save the subs in that place (which is the default).
Could you catch this case to your code and try to save them to /tmp instead in this cases?
Would be marvellous!

All the best
Henner

I got a notification today that the plugin was updated.
Since then, when i try to download a subtitle, i get this message "Error extracting subtitles".

What am i doing wrong? Sad
I already tried changing the user-rights for the XBMC folder, like mentioned somewhere else in this thread.

I love this plugin. Thanks for coding this anyway!

Sorry again. Your plugin is top notch Image

Edit: i need to clear up things: Your plugin works fine, even after the update.
The video that will not work: I merged it some while ago, it was split in two parts.
Subtitles work fine when i manually download then from e.g. opensubtitles.org and then browse and select it. But it will not download with the plugin. Probably because the video has been re-edited/merged. Your plugin somehow doesnt like it

Here's the details of the merged video

xbmc doesnt like the file supplied or the file is not a subtitle at all

You mean Sub or video? The same exact sub from opensubtitles.org works fine when i download it manually. The video will also play fine. Sync etc is all ok.
I also tried other subs, none of them will work with this video-file.

Although i got the problem fixed, it still is strange..
oh well...

sub, sometimes it just doesnt download correctly

After remuxing the movie with tsMuxer, the plugin works just fine.
Your plugin (which is awesome, no doubt) doesnt really like merged MKV's files.
Havent tried it with other file formats.

The sub-file was OK, nothing wrong with that

I was looking at adding sites but honestly I didn't really understand where to start.

Does it seem like a lot of work to include this?

main site: norsub.com

search: http://norsub.com/s/*title*

subtitle pattern:
<a href="http://norsub.com/undertekst/ *title* / *4 digit number* " title=" *release name* " style="text-decoration: none;"> *release name* </a>

Hey guys,
does anyone else has a problem with the OPENSUBTITLES engine inside the XBMC-Addons?
all the rest engines works just fine, but this one (which is the largest) show me the following error:
ERROR: list.remove(x): x not in list

or just get stuck (searching for too long time, even 10 minutes)

any ideas?
i have dharma version (just downloaded it less than a week ago), and v1.5.7 of XBMC Subtitles (what cames with XBMC).
