[solved] r31188: fails to build. cpluff related - einhänder - 2010-06-18

hi all,

is anyone else experiencing a build error related to cpluff? r31149 is the last revision that i could build successfully yesterday.

#1: Don't use ebuilds for xbmc. That goes 10x for -9999.
#2: make -j1. There's no helpful information in what you pasted.

mh, why? i haven't been experiencing any serious problems as long as the ebuild was/is up to date.
i heard this several times, but no one did ever really explain why. could you please bring some light into this?

sorry, i know that but forgot about it.

EDIT: mh'k. neither xbmc source nor the ebuild is to blame. i found the filesystem on one of my harddrives of my portageserver to be corrupt. the fs of the disc on mountpoint "/var/tmp" was affected.
