Are you limiting the quality? I prefer to keep a movie below 2G and nowerdays that seem to be an issue. At least in cp. Time to get a NAS.

Yeah, I'm limiting to DVDRip quality ( changed min and max to 600Mb and 1000Mb) for 99% of films. A few have been 720p's (not changed min and max for those)

When i hit the "download trailers" button, it starts searching, but shortly after it fails with these errors.

Anyone who might know a solution to this problem??

I replaced my exe with this new R32 version and now CP doesn't start on boot and when I try to run it manually it tells me it's the incorect version for my system and to check whether I need the 32bit or 64bit version?

ETA: I'll try AnyServiceInstaller again to run it as a service and see if that helps

- RuudBurger - 2011-06-23

mm, let me check

- Oakey - 2011-06-23

Nope, still the same. The message I get is:

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need x86 or x64 version of the program then contact the software publisher"

- RuudBurger - 2011-06-24

Think I accidentally created a 64bit version. Try the r33 Wink

Will report back shortly

ETA: Don't see r33 download link?

Download English Movies - pvoice - 2011-06-24

Hello,

I apologize if this have been asked before. I tried to read all the posts but there are WAY too many.

Anyway, I would like to know how to set-up CP to ONLY download movies in English.

I am using the IMDB script. I found Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace on IMDB. I clicked the Add to CouchPotato button, select the quality I'm looking for and move on to the next movie. However, the movie that was downloaded is Star.Wars.Episode.I.-.Die.dunkle.Bedrohung.1999.German.DL.HDTV.1080p.x264-x264Crew.mkv.

I thought CP would only look for the english version of the movie since I clicked on the English link @ IMDB. I am not filtering any words under the General tab in CP and I only have one quality setting (1080p) for movies.

I'd REALLY appreciate any help, suggestions, or flames that will set me on the right path. I have nothing against German, other an I don't speak or understand it so watching movies in German isn't that entertaining....lol.

Under the "General" section in Settings there is a section called "Ignored Words:

Add the following words like so. (Separated by a comma)

German,French,Dubbed

This will tell CouchPotato to ignore any releases found that have "German", "French" and/or "Dubbed" in the name. This will help limit what is found to hopefully english results as most films are english unless it is specified in the name.

Just to put your mind at ease, CouchPotato has no way of knowing if a release is English or not. By telling it you don't want releases with the word German in it you are helping "Tweak" CouchPotato to your liking. Feel free to add words like "NLSUBS" and any others you come across. Browsing nzbmatrix.com is a good start to see what keywords come up in releases that you don't want, Then you can add them to your ignore list and then CouchPotato should behave quiet nicely.

let me know how you get on Smile

cheers and good luck!

Actually - it is more of a problem generated by the NZB-Poster, because most indexes actually have a section "Foreign Movies" instead of "Movies", if they would post there instead of "Movies", it would work out...

Relax man, sometimes you gotta just enjoy life. Thanks again for the great tool!

Thanks for the new release. With the blu-ray search in place, there are only very few things missing to make this perfect!!! (API, option to de-activate ETA search)

Just a few question about the blu-ray.com search:

1) Can someone confirm that it works on Win7x32? I have activated the function under "extras", but nothing gets added (which may be because I already have all the new releases?) Just don't find anything under "logs" at all. How can I check whether it is running and how often does it check the site?

2) Any chance to have CP use (optional) the # of collections or # of fans instead of the IMDB rating

3) Is this function checking whether the movie is already in the queue, already snatched or already downloaded and (in this case) would not push it again?

Thanks again. Fantastic work!!!

r32 doesn't as it Ruud said he accidentally created a 64bit version.

I'm still waiting to try r33, no idea where the link is.

ETA: Found it here; https://github.com/RuudBurger/CouchPotato/downloads

(Didn't see that link hiding at the bottom of the main page)
