HenryFord,

I take it that you are helping out Ruudburger with this?

Have you by any chance looked into the issue of CP adding the "cd1" label on any file that has an mp4 suffix?

I wrote about this issue on the previous page.

Thanks,
Mark

I am not directly helping, implying programing, for CouchPotato as I lack Python-skills and have yet to find the will to actually learn Python.

Your setup however is correct and it indeed shouldn't happen that a "cd" is appended even though there is actually only one file. When it renames the file - does it rename it to *CD1* or just *CD* without a number? And it only happens on MP4-movies, right? Can you confirm this on multiple movies?

Any idea when r35 or some sort of Windows build will be released? Thanks.

HenryF, I downloaded and setup the python/cp zipball as a Task but the same error came up ? WTF ? if no one else is having these XMG/TMDB API errors then could this be error on my machine ?
at present I have uninstalled the python based cp , reinstalled and @ present using cp with no metadata being pulled ( using emm-r for that) and after that 1 trailer again no more trailers... thats one thing i miss sorely as emm-r dosent scrape trailers .. again you have to do manual on each file .
Hope midgetspy ( or someone / anyone) looks into this soon-----

Hi again,

Thanks for replying. It puts the label "CD1" into the name of the file as if there where 2 files associated with the movie. There are no samples and no other files. This is only files with the mp4 extension and it does it on all of the mp4 files I process with CP.
Can anyone else confirm this happening?

Thanks,
Mark

Wait... that shouldn't happen. You're not running the *.exe, do you? I can't wrap my head around it, this error is really, really strange.

midgetspy by the way is the dev. of Sickbeard, you probably want ruudburger to take a look Wink

@mwkurt:
Seems like a bug to me... Unfortunately I cannot confirm this, since I cannot test it myself right now. I could test it on the weekend, but I would suggest anyhow that you post this bug on the tracker so ruudburger can dive into it, I couldn't pinpoint the error in the code (though - as mentioned - I am not fluent in Python). The code which is used to determine wether it is a single-file or a multi-file-movie seems okay to me...:

mwkurt I confirm with .mp4 files CP adds CD-1 to the filename, so for everyone else trailers and metadata are being downloaded I presume ?

Can't update - oneadvent - 2011-12-16

I can't seem to update Couchpotato. It says I'm behind and I hit update and it says updating...but then the screen goes to the 404 page and when I try to service couchpotato start I get told it is already running.

How do I manually update?

- shaktoo - 2011-12-16

Henry .. I am not running the .exe but the .py version but was getting the same results ??
and LOL for the mistake !

- HenryFord - 2011-12-18

I just noticed that it happen(ed) on my installation as well... but it is fixed in the new commit - so after an update it should be fixed on your end as well Smile

will there be support for private torent trackers/rss feed download anytime soon?

- HenryFord - 2011-12-19

TjaLfE Wrote:will there be support for private torent trackers/rss feed download anytime soon?
I wouldn't think so, because the access is very limited and CP isn't targeted at torrents.
