For anyone who is getting _UNKNOWN_ on renaming, could you PM me the movie name and the original full release name.
So I can test why they are marked as unknown and can improve the renaming script.

which are the torrent sites that couchpotato searches from? it would be good to know that as well have a method to configure that...I see the preference is to use nzb but all the same torrents are a reasonably good source as well

"Support for NZBs.org, NZBMatrix, Newznab.com and ThePirateBay."

- hell_spawn27 - 2010-09-28

I just read that in the first page thanks! It would be great if there was to add isohunt.com or demonoid to the torrent list...

The application itself is fantastic thanks! But for nzb files, I guess I have to subscribe to a premium usenet news provider which is fine but unfortunately I have subscribed to rapidshare for a year and other file hosts..and I'm being a cheapskate...

Only a noob recently I discovered the world of usenet Smile it's great!

It seems I've got everything working great except for trailer downloading.

I've got my library organized and renaming setup. I have it look for 720p trailers when it downloads the movie, it seems to find them, but they're never actually downloaded or moved into the folder.

Here's a log from when I searched trailers for existing movies:

Quote:08:36:31,201 INFO [app.lib.cron.cronTrailer] Search for trailer for: The Incredible Hulk
08:36:31,202 INFO [app.lib.provider.trailers.hdtrailers] Searching http://www.hd-trailers.net/movie/the-incredible-hulk/

08:36:34,060 INFO [app.lib.cron.cronTrailer] No trailer found for The Incredible Hulk.

I don't understand why it says "Downloading Trailer" for 4 different qualities, but then says "No trailer found".

Yeah that is weird. Are you perhaps running in debug mode?
Do you have a "debug.conf" in your CP root directory?

It would appear so.

I likely enabled debugging when I was sorting out my library structure issue. I'll remove it and see what happens.

Edit: Looks like removing that file fixed it. Thanks!

Nice app, a few suggestion to make downloading movies more automatic.

1. Watch the renaming map, when the movie is finished, so you don't have to click that the downloading is done, and it then will rename it.
I'm using torrents for downloading movies, with uTorrent, and created a blackhole, but since uTorrent is running at my XBMC HTPC. I can't check wether the downloading is finished.

2. I want to build a XBMC Add-On for this, so people can download, in XBMC movies, but there isn't an API or something for this, how can I do that?

- RuudBurger - 2010-09-30

3. Profit?

This is implemented already, check the settings window. Just make sure with torrents, that the folder doesn't contain temporary download files. As CP doesn't know the difference Wink

When does CouchPotato do the renaming? For me it seems to be almost at random. Is there away to get it to kick off like way SickBeard does where we call a path and tell it to process a folder?

- RuudBurger - 2010-09-30

Every minute it scans you download dir.

I'm having a problem downloading stuff that doesn't have DVD_RIP in the NZB filename.

For example I'm trying to grab Jingle All The Way. There are 3 versions out on NZB Matrix.

However the log is showing:
19:41:37,003 INFO [app.lib.provider.yarr.base] Wrong: Jingle All The Way [1996], looking for DVD-Rip
19:41:36,920 INFO [app.lib.provider.yarr.base] Wrong: Jingle All the Way (1996), looking for DVD-Rip
19:41:36,836 INFO [app.lib.provider.yarr.base] Wrong: Jingle All the Way (1996), looking for DVD-Rip
19:41:36,332 INFO [app.lib.cron.cronETA] Scanning http://videoeta.com/movie/329.

The RSS feed returns that it is in the
and it even lists the size as ~750MB. Which would fall in the range I'd consider a DVDRip (~600-2000MB).
