Have anyone managed to install CouchPotato on Netgear ReadyNAS duo?

Thanks, will check it out. I am indeed working on a better movie indentification via hashing. This is a feature in my "library"-class and will be uses for trailers, subtitles and renaming.
When I'm done porting the renaming to the library-class, I see what the best way is to implement your changes. Thanks again, for the help Big Grin

K, I'll leave that to you.

Does anyone feel like they really need full .nfo files?

I can't think of any reason that they are necessary. Currently I just drop the imdb url into the .nfo file which makes sure that XBMC scrapes the correct movie.

Also I forgot to mention to anyone trying my fork, if you specify multiple XBMC hosts in config.ini (by separating each with a comma) it will send a notification to each host but only do a library update on the first.

This works nice for multiple XBMC installations all working off a MySQL library.

RuudBurger Wrote:could you make a screenshot of your custom quality? and is that quality set on the movie?

the log says it all really, I dont know what a screenshot would show you that I haven't already told you.

Its only downloading the quality I select - in this case dvd-rip. if I chose 720p then it would only get that quality. its ignoring all other qualities if dvd-rip is unavailable. also, I dont have a custom quality. I'm only selecting the ones that come with the program. to make it clearer:

1. I search the movie (for example, "the social network")
2. it finds the result and I choose a quality (eg dvd-rip) and click add
3. it adds the movie to the list, with "dvd-rip" highlighted in yellow
4. the log indicates (as posted earlier) that it found 'other versions' of the file in other qualities (eg 'TS'), but has ignored them, because it still is looking for a dvd-rip.
5. after not finding a dvd-rip CP stops looking. (if it finds the movie in dvd-rip then it gets it and there's no problem)
6. no version of the movie is downloaded and it remains on the wanted list.

sorry to be a pain - I do love CP though Smile

I have done it on my QNAP with Intel processor. What typ are your netgear running, arm or intel?

The readynas Duo has a SPARC cpu. I couldn't find a Pyhon addon for it. I looked at the QNAP description, and I was hoping that something simular would work on my readynas.

New version doesn't rename, as normal. Maybe since I'm using uTorrent for downloading, but it DID work. Also I don't get any errors or something, it doesn't even serach wether the downloading is finsihed.

CP, is not added my snachted movies to the finished part after they have been downloaded by SAB....

could it be because I have them being downloaded to

~/Downloads/Complete/CouchPotato then SAB is moving them to ~/Movies/ ? ? ? ?

I have a custom quality set called "BR-Rip if first". I use the following settings:
Wait 4 days for better quality.
Qualities:
BR-Rip Finish enabled
720p Finish enabled
DVD-Rip Finish enabled
R5 Finish enabled

Default quality drop down is set to "BR-Rip if first"
Order and hide = enabled BR-Rip if first.
Nothing else is enabled in order and hide.

"The American" R5 just came out today but CouchPotato downloaded the nzb immediately. As I have told it to wait 4 days for better quality, why did it do this?
Thanks.

because it did not find your first 4 choices, it found your firth choice and because you have it marked to finish it "WILL NOT" look for Dvd-rip 720P or Br-Rip.... had you not had finish on R5 it would have waited 4 days then done another search for Br-Rip if not found it looks for 720P if not found it looks for Dvd-R..... if none found it waits another 4 days and the process repeats. until it finds a "Finished" quality.

me thinks your need to redo your quality settings. if you look a few pages back you can see how I have mine setup.

you only want to select finish on items you do not wish to get a better copy of.

@ Flomaster:
Thanks for your help. I understand now and have unselected finish on DVD-Rip and R5 settings. I had misinterpreted the settings and thought CP only downloaded when it found a better quality.

nevermind, I worked it out. I didnt realise that each 'quality' name is actually just a default profile.

I created a custom quality and it appears to be working now.

I'm getting a constant "Searching for new releases" under the soon tab. It has been searching for about 30 minutes now. What is the typical time it takes to run this or did I do something wrong?

- cable_guy - 2010-10-28

hi all, how do you get Couchpotato or SAB to rename and file your movie downloads away for you please?
