i was talking about night svn, not xbmc.

- Randall Lind - 2011-03-04

XBMC SVN fix my crashing issues I been having and I grabbed the night.git and everything is working great now.

Why doesnt the "now playing"-bar use the full length of the screen? its annoying to just see the tripledots when there's plenty of space for the names..

Image

Is there a way for me to change this? its really annoying..

Will we see an update for the night skin in the official XBMC add-on repository?

yes, maybe week or two

How about the option for a semi-transparent right arrow next to each option on the homescreen, to show the average user that they can actually push RIGHT for more options?

I was wondering if there was any way you could put in a sort letter while scrolling? I think that would be very useful for someone with a large collection of movies.

- CiXel - 2011-04-03

I've enabled the 'global' clock, but it's not really global as it doesn't appear in any of the 'files' view.

When Global Clock is checked is it possible to overlay on each of these screens?

I dont like 'Sort Letter' scrolling, seems like every skin that has it as soon as I press left/right 2-3 times real quick it pops up. So it keeps popping up constantly which I find annoying, maybe if theres a way to get it delayed then maybe but I never looked into it...

Appears in Files mode on my end. Are you up to date on Night? Are you using a XBMC Nightly build cuz of the merging of Files/Library might have broke this?

10.1 stock XBMC with 'get add-on' Night 1.4.7
Just to clarify, when mentioned 'Files' I meant the Viewtype under the Movies/TV Shows sections.

Yea must not have it in the Repo version, either use an up to date version of Night, the FAQ has a explanation on how to use GIT, or I should have a repo update in a week or two...

"Newest" - a submenu selection under Movies / TVShows. Is this a smartplaylist, or is it part of the underlying code of xbmc?

If it's a playlist - where is it located?

If it's a part of the underlying o/s - is there a way to create a smartplaylist that does the same thing? I'd like to create one with my own variables.

Thx

Amazing skin. I've spent quite sometime customizing it to my likings on an ATV2 and I have a question for you about GIT.

If I want to update to the latest version using GIT, how would I do it for my ATV2? I don't have XBMC installed on my computer, just on my ATV2.
Is there a way to download the latest version of Night on my PC, SSH it to my ATV2 and use putty to update?

- stoli - 2011-04-10

@exeon - I'd suggest using the passion repository and download night through there. They automatically update from git nightly (if changes have been made) and you can then upgrade directly through the skin.

WOW!!! This skin is AMAZING!!! love it on my appletv2 thanks everyone
