My Log file is here: http://pastebin.com/SdLx85wj

Let me know what you think...

Thanks!
Ok I have tested your launchers.xml file on my system.

For Data (using "poker night" search string) :
  • GameFAQs -> ok
  • ModyGames -> ok
  • AllGame -> ok (but no plot)
AllGame scraper return no plot, because there is no plot on the AllGame website for this game.

For Thumbs (using "Poker Night at the Inventory" title as search string) :
  • GameFAQs -> No Thumb
  • ModyGames -> No Thumb
  • Google -> ok
GameFAQs scraper return no thumb. A thumb is present on the GameFAQs web site, but do not have any full-size version of this image. So that's why the scraper return no result. The scraper only download full-size image and not thumbnailed images. The MobyGames scraper return no thumb. A thumb is present on the MobyGames web site, but it is not a real PC game cover, but a kind of flyer. That's why the scraper do not take it into account.

For Fanarts (using "Poker Night at the Inventory" title as search string) :
  • GameFAQs -> ok
  • ModyGames -> No Fanart
  • Google -> ok
The MobyGames scraper return no fanart, because there is no fanart on the MobyGames website for this game.

So yes, you could have difficulties to get all the game metadata information, but it is due to the fact that all those metadata are not present on the sources website, and not due to a problem with Advanced Launcher. You will have to select the right scraper to get all the metadata information for this game. Here is my result using GameFAQs scraper for data and Google scraper for thumbs and fanarts images

Ok - I'll try this again. Could it have anything to do with the theme I'm using (I'm using the SVN of Night)?

No, nothing to do with the skin....

Hello Angelscry, I have a request to make.
If nobody saw inconvenience, would you agree to add security to Advanced Launcher to avoid accidentally run 2 times the same application ?

How could you run 2 times the application ? Huh

For example, if I press 2 times quickly Genesis game, when I close Kega Fusion, he started a second time.

big problem for me only i guess - ewookie - 2011-02-24

great work! however, i have a problem with all the launchers i've tried. maybe you can remedy it...

i have lots of roms. to keep from scrolling through a list of 800 roms, i sort my roms into alphabetical folders. Example folder structure:
\roms\nes
..\0-1\
..\A\
..\B\
..\C\
(you get the idea)

none of the launchers i have tried in XBMC will scan these subfolders for roms. it is the only thing keeping me from switching to XBMC from my old Meedio setup, which had this ability 'out-of-the-box'

Please help me. Please add setting to scan N subfolders deep. Pretty please? I'm tired of being in the dark ages.

It's a great idea! should be a toggle or maybe if the user has.... 100+ roms or something

Version 1.2.6 - Angelscry - 2011-02-25

This new version, bring items recursive scan. So now when you will select an item directory, Advanced Launch will also scan the sub-directory for items. By default the recursive scan option is activated, but could be deactivated using the add-on settings menu. Also, with this version, the Google thumbnail cache is now regularly cleaned. Finally this version fix a scan bug with items having file extension with a different case oh the one indicated into the launcher settings.

Changelog
  • Add recursive scan option.
  • Add cache auto-clean function for Google images scrapers.
  • Fix thumbs/fanarts filenames creation for item files with different extension case.
  • Update french translation.

Sorry, but I cannot fix this using Advanced launcher. I do not understand how the same process could be quickly started several time. Because, into Advanced Launcher when a process is started, the next possible action occurs only when the started child process is ended. So I cannot add any control. The only thing I actually see for you is to write and use a launcher script that will try to kill any existing Kega fusion process before start it. It will avoid you to have 2 time the same Kega Fusion process running. Launcher script will be like this :
Code:
pssuspend "XBMC.exe"
[b]pskill -t "Fusion.exe"[/b]
cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Fusion364"
Fusion.exe %1
pssuspend -r "XBMC.exe"

Thank you very much Angelscry.
Sorry, I should refrain from asking you that, it was far from being indispensable, and then you almost do it on purpose to throw 2 times the same application.

Advanced Launcher is already awesome as it is, as its creator.Nod
