Mostly because Project64 command line support is not standard. I was able to make it work on my system. So there is no reason to not works on your. I could help you to solve this if you post here the content of your launchers.xml file using for example the pastebin service. Also which version of project64 are you using (version 1.6 ou 1.7)? It is important because the command line support on these 2 versions are different.

Here ya go... http://pastebin.com/fXXrPUmq

Edit: I just noticed that I do not have --fullscreen in the arguements but it was there while testing. I took it out while testing.

Argument is not good :
Code:
<args>--noosd --resoluttion (1280x720) "%rom%"</args>
Must be :
Code:
<args>--noosd --fullscreen --resolution 1280x720 "%rom%"</args>
as I told you into my last post and as wrote into the wiki page : http://www.gwenael.org/xbmc/index.php?title=Mupen64_Plus#Windows.

ok, just noticed that I had resolution misspelled. This fixed the fullscreen launching issue.
XBMC still does not come back when I close out the rom though?

Be sure that :
  • XBMC "display mode" is set to fullscreen (into video settings).
  • XBMC "Use a fullscreen window rather true screen" option is activated (into video settings).
  • "Toggle XBMC Fullscreen mode" option is set to "on" (into your launcher advanced modification menu).
Normally it will work. That's my actual options under Windows 7.

They're both acquainted with my burnt-out brain.

Sorry. I forgot for a minute what we were talking about. Smile

@Angelscry

Hi i've been using advanced launcher for a few months now and I love it. it works perfectly for my needs. However, I do have 1 request. Would it be possible to add game logos as an aditional artwork type. although I dont know any scrapers for these, they can be found easily via torrents or the hyperspin forum. game logos would alow for a more unified interface since tv shows and music artists now have logo support. All that would be required is for us to put them in a folder and link to the emulator and name the logos the same as the roms, just like fanart and boxart.

Logos would be in .png format

This is a more a skin feature than an advanced launcher feature. Some skins, like Cirrus Extended already support the display of logo for games.

So, if you want this feature for your actual skin, you will need to ask to the skin developer to add it.

Great. Thanks Angelscry. I wonder how they link the logo to individual launcher roms if the logo isnt presented by advanced launcher. Guess i'll have to resurch into Cirrus Extended and ask ronie the auther of "Transparency!" to impliment it.

Thanks again

I think the implementation is based on the name of the launcher or the game. Cirrus Extended use it's proper game folder path parmeter and use it to store for example extrafanarts and video. I think logos are displayed with the same manner.

What skin is your screenshot above from?

Quote:Add Network or Local drives

It will be possible that, for your first use of Advanced Launcher, you will be not able to see or access any of your network or local drives. To solve this you will have to add them as sources into XBMC. To do this, you need to access XBMC files manager (using "S" key, then Filemanager option). Select the Add source option and select your network or local drives to add. Then you will be able to see and access them from Advanced Launcher.

I am not able to get to the file manager. When I press "S" I get the shutdown options. Looks like a great plugin But the only areas I can select from are my dvd drives and my camera card slots. I am running 10.1 on win7. Could anyone help me with this?

It's the Alaska Revisited skin (with Aeon Theme).

Oupsss... Sorry. "S" key action depend on the skin you are using. If your are using Confluence skin (default XBMC skin) : highlight "System" option on XBMC home menu, press right arrow, and select "File Manager". On the new window, select "Add Source" option, then add the internal, external or any network drive you want as source. Then this source will appear into Advanced Launcher.
