Hey Angelcry.
Advanced launcher for favorites rocks! I can finally set my xbmc as I want, thanks a ton!
I've had a few errors messages from Advanced launcher while setting my favorites as I wanted.
Defenetly not sure it comes from your addon, since I'm using it on Gotham beta (which I shouldnt do) on a beta skin (Aeon Nox 5), on an Ouya on top of that.
When I try to create a new category or add a favorite inside one, I get an error : 'cannot create launcher.xml' file
Now the thing is, it just works. The new category is there, and the favorite inside as well... it works but give error message.
Here is the Log.
You'll notice at the end, I tried to change a favorite's thumb from advanced launcher, and that didnt work.
It doesnt matter since you can change them straight from the favorites menu.
I hope it'll help you for future gotham release.

Just wanted to say thanks for this Add-On, I'm currently working on a set of thumbnails for all systems and I will upload some examples pretty soon.

Like I said in my previous post, Advanced launcher for favorites rocks!
If you ask me, you should make a standalone for it, and it should goes on stock XBMC, period. Favourite manager is a long time overdue.
It's kinda weird to see all what you can do in XBMC, only to realise that you're stuck with some weird favourite management.
Well, not anymore.
Now, since it's only 'fredo ready' and I'm using it on Gotham, it's kinda a pain in the ass to force-install (move folders) on an Android box (Ouya), I have to install it on my macbook, on a fresh Fredo, zip it and then send it to Dropbox.
Which I just did. It did work then, just giving fake false errors.
It don't anymore with 2.4.5

If people want to use Advanced Launcher only to manage their favourites... they can just do it.

Nothing related to Advanced Launcher. For the installation problem... that's a Gotham feature. An addon that can be automatically installed on Frodo cannot be installed on Gotham. The opposite is also true.

Is there a way to filter rom lists, I'm using No-Intro sets and only want to display USA and some European games.

If you want to manage ROM under XBMC use RCB, the dedicated add-on. If you still want to use Advanced Launcher, the other solution is simply to delete the ROM you don't want to see or play. What is the interest to have ROM that you do not want to play? Ho... wait... are you talking about games piracy here?

So my best bet is to simply just delete the items that I don't want to appear in Advanced Launcher, There's no problem with me doing that.
I don't have any keen interest in RCB, Advanced Launcher on the other hand is what I want and does what I want and looks how I want it to look.

I'm having trouble with the comic vine scraper not correctly picking up New 52 comics. Is there a naming scheme I can use to assure better results? Both for Batman and Animal most of the scraped comics grab the wrong ones

Yep for example with the new 52 all the comics start at 1, so for Batman #1.cbr it's not finding this comic: http://www.comicvine.com/batman-1-knife-trick/4000-293259/
edit: btw I didn't enter "Batman #1.cbr" into the search string, only Batman #1 haha. I just realized now that it might look confusing the way I wrote it.
I also tried searching Batman #1 Knife Trick for that specific comic, to no avail...
