Code:
/e "%rom%"

Btw: Dolphin should run better on Windows, and even more so on 64 bits. So maybe that's why there's a (huge) performance gap between Win7 64 bits and XBMC Live (which is 32 bits only), different hardware not even mentioned. Wink

yeah like angelsry im am missing now .dlls too, altleast that slash looks like its working better XD
"error loding plugin Plugin_DSP_HLE.dee: cant find file please re-select..."

Then I'd say there are some paths to be configured, because it doesn't find the audio plugin. I don't know where the cfg file is stored on Windows, but that should be the key, I guess.

And for Linux: Well, as I said before, no problems here on Dharma Live with a Nvidia GPU. There are quite some video settings in Dolphin, so maybe changing one of those fits for ATI GPUs?

Here's my thread on the bsnes forums - http://board.byuu.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1315

They directed me to here for an alternative bsnes UI called SSNES that they say would be more suited for HTPC use, which includes mappable exit button and option to force to full screen

Edit - appears to be for Unix/Linux only for now

I like to push this Emu as what this guy is doing/trying to do for SNES emulation is incredible, through his work he has recently had certain DSP chips dumped and fully reversed engineered so that they can be emulated properly for the first time, with more chips on the way.. he's also trying to clean up the SNES ROM mess with all the different extensions in use, bad dumps etc. ..

And even cooler is he is collecting every game produced, scanning all box art, manuals etc. and then making bit-perfect dumps of all the games

Now that is some major dedication!

Looks Great. Will this support all sizes (NES = Poster, SNES = Landscape, PS1 = Square)?

Angelscry, I have two requests:
Could you sort ROM names with articles (ie, words like "the", "a", "an") as if they didn't have those words?

I'd like "The Legend of Zelda" to show up under "L" rather than "T". When I use automatic scan, it picks up the full name, It'd be super if ALA could either rename the ROM to "Legend of Zelda, The" or sort the ROM as if it didn't have that word. This could probably be an addon-setting.

Second, I'd be interested in a way to store a "Collection" of Stand-alone Executables. Right now, all my PC Games are scattered around, but my Emulator games are neatly organized according to their system. I use Windows, so I tried to use cmd.exe to launch *.lnk shortcuts...but this didn't work, since cmd.exe doesn't take arguments.

Any solution you can provide would be awesome.

Wrong thread? Well, I am using this Advanced Launcher to get Spotify to work. So I think this is the right place. But perhaps not... it doesn't matter Smile

Not Yet, at the moment only Poster ...

TODO:

- Square, Wide (Landscape)
- Rightlist View (Poster, Landscape, Square)

Already referenced into the WIKI page since this week-end for linux : http://www.gwenael.org/xbmc/index.php?title=Bsnes
I have not yet tested it for windows.

- BrotherMagneto - 2011-01-10

Angelscry when the wiki page doesn't list Windows-compatible emulation for an emulator (DOSBox and MESS are the two I'm interested in right now) does that mean they haven't been tested and documented, or does it mean they just won't work right? I wanted to know before I dash headlong into trying to get some of my old Sierra point and click adventures working tonight.

Great plugin by the way - you helped me realize a dream of playing DEFCON on my 55" TV with an Xbox controller, thanks! Big Grin

Would it be possible to make the script clear the audio and video queue when you start the script? I have run into the problem where I start a movie, change my mind quickly, and start a different one, but everything ends up queued twice. Unless this is not expected behavior, in which case I can provide a log!

EDIT: also, I have noticed that it seems to be possible to run more than one instance of the script at a time? When doing the previously mentioned behvior (exiting the script and starting a different movie instead), it seemed that I may not have completely exited the script before launching the second one and the two end up fighting each other, ending up with some very odd trivia shows, where some slides show for 10 seconds, some for half a second, and a range of times in between. It's possible that something else was the cause, but something odd was definitely happening. A restart of xbmc solved the issue. If needed, I can try to recreate the issue and provide a log.

all you can do with zsnes, map all buttons, start roms in fullscreen, save load, pick states. plenty of config options.

If an emulator does not appear into the WIKI page that's just means that it does not have been tested and approved yet. I have not found the time yet to test DosBox and MESS under windows. Emulators that REALLY do not works with XBMC will be indicated as "No" into the corresponding WIKI page tables.

Well in that case let me test the hell out of DOSBox for you. Smile

Thanks!

I'm not sure I really understand. Are you using Advanced Launcher to play movies? Which application are you using for that? Are you under Windows or Linux? One thing you can try is to write a script (.sh or .bat depending your exploitation system) that will kill your application before start it.
