Hi

One of the movies in my collection is "The Forbidden Kingdom" on TMDB the URL is http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1729

The problem I have is the Sharethe.tv site has the title incorrect, the description is russian, and attempts to refresh from TMDB are failing, here is the offending link.

http://sharethe.tv/movies/forbidden-ringdom-the

I think you just need to correct the movie ID as it's trying to trefresh from http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/50145 which doesn't appear to exist.

Also, on my profile Hall Pass is linking to http://sharethe.tv/movies/hall-pass-2011--2 how do I change this so it links to the proper version of http://sharethe.tv/movies/hall-pass-2011 ?

Thanks

Is there any way I can set this up on a nightly build of XBMC?

If you have another installation of an official XBMC version you can install sharethe.tv there and then you will find this file: script.sharethetv-1.1.0.zip. Copy it to the computer with the XBMC with the nightly build and install the plugin from the zip file.

On the review last update page, is it possible if you could list the file name too? I have a couple of movies that are listed as the wrong movie, but I have no way of finding out which ones they are.

Thank you.

Is there a place to downoad it from if we don't have anothe install of XBMC somewhere?

Edit: Nevermin I foud a way.

Ok, so I got it to work and it's missing 11 movies. Is there an easy way to figure out which ones it skipped? I know I have some Pixar Shorts in there and what not so I'm sure those are part of it.

If you sign in and go to your settings page, there will be a 'review your last update' section which allows you to see the movies that failed to be added to the sharethe.tv site.

Using this you should be able to resolve most of your issues - it could be that the Title is miss-spelt, or the movie is not on TMDB.

Yeah, my scraper uses IMDB, but most of them worked?

But sharethe.tv then scrapes it's data from TMDB based on what is sent to it from your library.

If you go to the 'Review last update' section on sharethe.tv it will tell you exactly which movies are failing to add to the site correctly.

Generally, the problems will be caused by either:
a) Miss-spelt title
b) Incorrect year of release (according to TMDB)
c) Movie not on TMDB - You could always contribute these is you don't mind investing a little bit of time.

so this doesn't seem to work with the latest nighties does it? as it either crashes XBMC or gives me a not responding, at least on OS X Lion. the only other add ons i'm using are trakt and trakt utilities

For some reason this doesn't seem to run automatically, even though I set it to run automatically - it works fine if I manually run the plugin

How can I get it to work automatically??

One other question I have is that some movies in my profile are not being sorted correctly - for example 'The Mummy' films are being sorted on 'M' instead of 'T' - I think it was down to a setting in XBMC that was ignoring 'The', I've now amended this in XBMC and have run the 'ShareThe.TV' plugin again but my profile is still showing movies in the wrong order.

How can I get my profile to re-sort?

(I'm running this on an ATV 2 with the latest nightly build)

Thanks in advance

I am wondering if there could be an option on sharethe.tv website to automatically update from xbmc? There could be an option when to update. Like every 4,6,12,24 hours so that I dont have to update manually since my htpc is always on. Let me know if thisa feature that could be added.

- ady199 - 2011-08-26

For some reason the plugin has stopped working - I've just updated my collection with another 4 movies (The Fast and the Furious collection) but for some reason, my profile is not updating to reflect this.

My profile is showing 261 movies but I have 266.

I've manually run the plugin but it's still not updating.

Edit: I've now uploaded 1 more movie to my collection - Still not working. I've un-installed and then re-installed the ShareThe.TV plugin but it's still not working

Here is my log file:-

It was working yesterday..............
