This looks great. Love all of the transitions. Makes me glad I have a fairly hefty rig. This skin is going to melt ion boxesWink

Keep up the great work.

Looking great.

One Q I have is will a person have to scrape a whole bunch of new extrathumbs, etc?

I'm currently using Ember Media Manager for all movies + TV Shows and don't really have any extra thumbs, fanart, etc besides the cover poster + 1 1080p fanart / backdrop.

We are definitely making use of extra thumbs throughout. I don't believe I ever call for amore than 2, but I use ember to pull 5 when I scrape. Not required... but a bunch of empty Polaroid pictures is not going to look all that hot. Tongue

OK, thanks again.

I'll hold off doing the additional scraping until the rubber hits the road so to speak. Meaning I want to make sure I have proper file structure, number of pics, etc so I don't do the 're-scraping' twice.

Unless of course you guys have all that nailed down and documented for Movies + TV Shows?

Another quick run through - the actor views

(you may notice that in the actor views the movie list that comes up Is actually always the Sam Jackson list... I have a lot of copy paste to do to get all the info labels right in those, but it will be done)

(also, in the widescreen fan art actor view we are changing the way we are structuring actor fan art, so all youre seeing there is the fallback for the large image)

(first view of the OSD in action as well. Smile

Ronie is awesome. The man has really brought this whole thing to life and has dealt with every little weird thing that I've come up with like a trooper. I can't give him enough credit fir the feats he has managed to pull off in this skin.

I'm amazed by you job Shocked

It's cool to see what we can do and have our first dynamic theme !

I Would say "Night" was the 1st "dynamic" theme (well I am bound to be wrong).

But them transitions are the things that is going rock this theme out of the park. I Love my "Night.Purity" skin. But I can see this really REALLY selling XBMC to a lot of new users down the road.

I Did a showcase of the setup on youtube a few weeks ago. And then showed my online friends why I raved about XBMC so much. They was just happy using VLC/WMP/Winamp. Then I showed them mXBMC with "Night.Purity" and now they are all sold on XBMC.

This skin will do just the same think. All that is left for XBMC to do is

1 Get blu-ray disks to play like in set top box. (unencrypted disks only)
2 add a full on Audiobook library system.
3 Sort out 3D systems. (Not easy as nobody still has a standard to work too)
4 Invent Warp Drive.

I think what I am most proud of so far is the total immersive feel of the skin. We are packing a TON of information in there, live rss feeds, some interesting games with the database to make things a little more "media rich".

The animations are gorgeous, and we are only going to pack it with more goodies from here on in. The goal is to provide a smooth, seamless interface.

Its definitely different than anything out there, and there is a bit of a learning curve with the navigation of the home screens in particular... but I think that once you get the hang of it, its pretty intuitive.

Actually, still some work to be done here, not 100% on all the views, but you'll get an idea of some of the goodies we've been working on. Well. ronie has. I just keep him with an endless supply of silly ideas.

Shit the bed mate but this looks good!

Ronies fingers must be like nubs now.

- Broads - 2011-02-12

Holy carp that looks fantastic! Blacklist you and Ronnie are wizards.

Keep up your very fine work. I for one can't wait...
