Let one download. Then do a search in both your XBMC folder (one in program files and one in your profile) for *.mov. Those paths assume you are using windows.

Unfortunately, nothing found Sad

really strange Huh

Nuka1195 Wrote:did you make any changes to get it to download? it's sat there for an hour and done nothing.

i see it's marked as private secure. not sure what that means. i don't use torrents much.

I enabled all of this. Normally Im a bit paranoid with everything security-wise so I usually have none of these enabled.

ah, i'm using transmission on a NAS drive. i don't have any of those. i do have ignore unencryted peers. which i tried disabling.

any reason not to upload the whole file? it's 80MB.

Gah.... A MegaUpload for a .torrent file?
Why not Tar. Par. and Bzip2 it first?
Reminds me of people that use Excel as a means of sending pictures.

Here are the CE videos
http://exstatic.org/261/XBMC_CE_Videos.tar
Also on Usenet for those with access:
http://nzbclub.com/nzb_view/8024713/38e6647f_XBMC_CE_Videos_XBMC_CE_Videos_list

Once the 5GB "XBMC Home Theater Experience" is done (it's moving along at a whopping 2KB/s right now) I'll put it up on my website and also upload it on Usenet. That way people don't have to spend a few days with the torrent open.

Why are you even getting it from the torrent then? Why not megaupload where it was originally posted? This is why I personally dont use torrents, relying on others is usually a failure.

And if you look 4 posts before your you would see the CE videos already on megaupload as well.

I just grabbed the first one I saw.

And I personally hate MegaUpload and the such. I suppose they scratch an itch for people that can't afford their own hosting.

But DropBox has 2.0 GB for free and you can make public links, they don't have any timelimit to download the next chunk and they're run off of S3, so plenty fast.

Or ones that don't give a shit about having others wait 45 seconds when they are doing them a favor. Try dropping that chip on your shoulder rich boy. I don't see "Donator" by your hold name.

You hate something that is blowing away your 2kbps that you are previously bitching about.

just a huge thank you for everyone who has helped in resurrecting this script and getting it to work in dharma.

Thanks.

After reading darkscouts posts I was thinking, Jesus, ya try to do something nice for strangers...

But remember, it cost me money and it costs you nothing, so complain less and enjoy more!

Sorry bout the torrent, and MegaUpload, I didn't know it would have so many problems or I would have just uploaded the files themselves. But probably to MegaUpload, which I used because I saw it used here previously and haven't previously uploaded files for public consumption. Rookie mistake...

In the end I hope people just enjoy them.

Thanks, again, for putting these up where they'll be less of a problem.

Now this thread can get back to Cinema Experience business.
