I'd say the issue is using Kodi. Get XBMC 13.2. I've never had issues getting the script to work. Just home automation has me stumped.

I'm not here to bash this program, I think it's great. I post most of this using my iphone that's a piece of shit and doesn't show the whole post screen. Yes I used the wrong to. Thanks for the help though.

Got some weird behaviour when starting a movie. It kinda goes like this:
- Movie starts
- Movie stops after 2 seconds and returns me to the menu
- Trailer starts followed by the movie
It doesn't matter if I start the movie from the regular menu or from a smart playlist. I don't have the cinema-button, I just select any given movie.
Is there a way to prevent the movie from playing before a trailer does?

Hello, I have installed CE multiple times and I cannot get the addon to function at all. when in Genesis, I click on movie info>click Cinema> nothing happens.

Alrighty, I'll take a look at the log when I get home and see if I can figure it out. I think gifty is still dealing with real life, so I dont think he'll be around to help very much. What skin did you say you were using, and what version of XBMC?

I read the rules...they seem pretty vague. The theme of my post is no different than other users asking for help with CE. Please point me to the post in this thread where we were told to stop uploading logs. The wiki site linked me to this forum for my issue.

If I'm reading this right, you're trying to use CE with content from Genesis. True story, I thought Genesis was a skin - not a streaming addon. CE only works with local Kodi content, as it needs the Kodi database to get data about the film for a lot of its settings, and a local video file to play. I doubt there will be support for strm files, but that would be a question that giftie would have to answer. As far as I know, it has to have a local movie file to work properly.

Could you please check this log too. XBMC will crash when using CE. Just tried this again yesterday and I have still the problem.
I guess CE is causing a memory leak...

I can't seem to get the ratings to show up, I downloaded them from cinemavision and put the files into the same folder unmodified and pointed cinema experience to that folder, the ratings just refuse to show up.
