I just changed a few font size and positioning settings for nox, you can try them if you like. Replace the xml files from within C:\Users\"Your name"\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\skin.aeon.nox\720p with the ones from this link http://www.mediafire.com/?gxkvm3eh49aadgx - drivesoslow - 2011-06-03 Big_Noid Wrote:Yeah, is only while playing video, so the next video you play (or stop start the same) it will be good. But I'll fix that, thx. Thanks. I appreciate all the help. Do you think you could fix the studio logos in the list view so they can be disabled? Thanks again - Choque - 2011-06-04 AeonNoxFan Wrote:@Choque: Thanks for the good idea. I probed the colorspace capabilities of the Intel driver and got "RGB 4:4:4" and "YCrCb 4:4:4". Promising. Unfortunately, forcing YcrCb444 via xorg.conf made zero visible difference. It's possible that it's not properly implemented in the Intel driver, and is either not working at all, or not doing any compression (not rescaling so that 0 becomes 16, and so on). I'll talk to the Intel guy in a few weeks. Thanks anyway for the good idea.If that didn't work, there's one last thing you might want to try. Add this to your xorg.conf (you can delete the colorspace part) Code: Option "ColorRange" "Limited" Code: Section "Screen" - anarchintosh - 2011-06-04 hey, i found a very minor, but confusing bug in the stable (Dharma) release: In the skin settings, "Use Posters instead of Banners" is backwards. That is true is false, and false is true. ie. i had to enable it in order to use banners Still the best skin on XBMC - BigNoid - 2011-06-04 anarchintosh Wrote:hey, i found a very minor, but confusing bug in the stable (Dharma) release:Thx Could you tell me which view exactly has this problem? I just looked in bannerwall en bannerplex and there it works as expected, ie it assumes you have banners if the option is disabled and uses banner.jpg if the option is enabled. - SpectreX - 2011-06-04 Well isn`t banner.jpg the standard naming convention for banners? So if you tell XBMC to use "poster" instead of "banners" doesn`t that mean that you`re using something else instead of the banner.jpg? - BigNoid - 2011-06-04 SpectreX Wrote:Well isn`t banner.jpg the standard naming convention for banners? So if you tell XBMC to use "poster" instead of "banners" doesn`t that mean that you`re using something else instead of the banner.jpg? But you only need banner.jpg if you don't use banners with scraping. Normal case is skins use listitem.icon/listitem.thumb to show the banner or posters. If you scrape banners native the thumb/icon will be a banner, if you scrape poster thumb/icon will be poster format. So if you disable the option listitem.thumb will be used in banner views and poster.jpg in non-banner view. If you enable the option, banner.jpg will be used in bannerview and listitem.thumb will be used in posterviews. - not_ - 2011-06-04 just want to say thx to Big_Noid for this skin! works very well even on my atom/ion htpc - I love it! if anyone needs the fonts used in this skin to sport unicode support (e.g. for asian characters in ID3 tags, etc.) - I uploaded tweaked fonts as posted here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=811626&postcount=18 - ralob - 2011-06-05 I wanted to shout another 'thank you' out to Big_Noid. I am still using this as my default skin (although I did add a few mods- GIT is a godsend). It is a fantastic skin. - knewknow - 2011-06-05 I think I remember seeing in other skins/views a way to show information even on unwatched movies, but keep info hidden on unwatched TV shows. Is this a function of the skin, or can this setting be changed elsewhere in xbmc? I'm using infowall. And thanks Noid for what is the best xbmc skin hands down... - BigNoid - 2011-06-05 ralob Wrote:I wanted to shout another 'thank you' out to Big_Noid. I'm using infowall.thx, it's an xbmc option, show plot for unwatched items in video settings. - fional - 2011-06-05 Big_Noid Wrote:The icons won't look good in Nox, because they are different from the rest of the flags and also have a different resolution, so they will be either too big or too small. They should be 161x109 resolution and preferrebly white letters on a transparent background. Hi Big Noid, Remember this thing I was trying to do... you were helping me here as well: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=100779 Well, I did it...but I don't see it working and am completely confused I just had a chance to test it and I don't even see where the icons I replaced would be or if it was successful at all. I use, primarily, the "Low List" view. I know I can just hit "i" and see a path, but sure at a glance be SO much nicer for me hehe Many many thanks. -- EDIT -- Here is a pastebin of my MediaFlag include.. http://pastebin.com/VyiwxpEF - benlen10 - 2011-06-05 I'm very impressed with this skin but I just have a few questions about it. 1. Is there any way to change the general color theme from black to something a little lighter such as a blueish color similar to mq2? 2. Is there any way to have a set background for the advanced launcher section without having the background be the current game's fan-art? 3. I can not seem to get the rss feed to work, i have tried (http://rss.cnn.com/rss/cnn_topstories.rss) and nothing shows up. Thanks in advance if anyone has any answers! - Kahnyl - 2011-06-06 I have this problem where whenever I load my subscriptions in the YouTube plugin the skin goes to Wall no matter what I have it set as. I even disabled Wall in the settings and it still does it. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Otherwise the skin is fantastic. It's the best Aeon I've used yet. - knewknow - 2011-06-06 Big_Noid Wrote:Thx I can only seem to get this to work for both TV & Movies, but not set them independently. I'd like to keep plot hidden in TV shows for unwatched items, but show it for Movies whether they're watched or unwatched. |
