Updated to the latest version and now when opening XBMC I get an error about the Randomitems.py script. Any ideas? This seems to be stopping the latest/random widgets working

I've been using Aeon Nox for quite some time now and i was switching views (to keep things fresh
), I noticed that when you use the Posterview and set it to Posterslide you can't show watched/new on the posters. Is this a bug, did i miss a setting or is this simply overlooked so far?Curious to hear the answer

Thanks lupick, but I don't know if I can use that script because I'm using another device to control XBMC that requires a username/password and that splitter app wont work if you specify a user/pass.
Is there no other option for auto multiple fanarts?

I've upgraded the skin yesterday with the git and now when xbmc start I've an error in the randomitmem script.
I'm running xbmc pre eden (git20110617.c4dea43-0) and version randomitem ver 0.2 .
Is it possible to chenge the background for custom favorites buttons?

There was a bug with favorite backgrounds. It's fixed now so you can change like all other backgrounds.

I have spent a week or so researching and reading through forums and haven’t been able to find the answer to my question, so I thought I would finally post.
I have Aeon and library etc setup just the way I like it. I have 500+ standard movies (common cinema or DVD release titles) and another few hundred Documentaries and obscure videos. I have successfully added most to the library. Then I created a “documentary” smart playlist and created a home menu “Docos” with it. This is all working fine. Now what I would like to do is:
1 - add recently added submenu to the new Docos Menu
2 – To be able to set it up so the existing Aeon Skin “Movies” Menu does not show any of the “Docos” in the library and shows only the “movies”. Is there a way to get the existing Movies menu to work of a playlist? I figure I could have a smart playlist to show anything “not documentary” and it would show only my standard movies and another that shows only the Docos. Would make it a bit easier to scroll through either etc.
I am sure it is a simple solution to add to the home.xml. Had a look through it and I just couldn’t work it out. I am new to the xml side of things and would really appreciate a nudge in the right direction.
Forgot to mention... Running stable Darma 10.1 and Aeon 1.3

2) In stable version you can't, in the eden-pre version you can choose which action is default for each menu item. You could also hack it yourself then it's possible in both versions. Look for list with id="9000" there you'll find the content items which control what menu items is shown and what they do.

2) Yeah, that's the downside of adding support for external files. This should be solved when xbmc get's native support for logos and such. You could try a debug log to check where it goed wrong and post that. Maybe there is an easy solution.

2) found a bug with the weather widget, well it uncovered one, I use the Weather plus addon (very nice) and i noticed that when i highlight weather on home screen the box for TODAY in upper left shows the current temp from accuweather which is what i picked in weather plus settings, but the little widget by the clock is displaying a diff temp by 3 degrees i'm assuming its using the Standard weather plugin which is the weather channel i think

I don't know if this has come up before but would it be possible somehow to download multiple or all fanarts for each movie and then use them as backgrounds rotated in Aeon Nox?
This would be an awesome feature! If its not possible with xbmc's code, would you be able to at least add the option within your skin to rotate the fanarts that are downloaded manually (for each movie's page as well as on the homescreens in rotation)?
With all the nice vibrant fanart out there, having 1 per movie just seems boring

I used the svn version but the latest added movies/tv widget does not work....
Also is there away to get Tv section in this order
TV show(view landscape with no info)/TV Season(view Showcover)/Tv Episode(view landscape with info) pretty much just not have the first section of tv show in landscape with out showing the info but have the episode section with the info in landscape view.....sorry for the confusion...
love the skin works great and pretty snappy....run it on three comp's at home...

The new icons.. no I like em! I really like the folder with the globe icon by it. I just can't help seeing an ass--shape when I look at the one with that shape.. err.. maybe I'll just crawl out of the gutter?
The weather widget looks so cool. I expect this has been asked before but have you ever thought about an icon layout view that supports video (thumbnails) more? I mean for example, youtube, where the addon shows you a landscape thumb. Internet media is almost half of my xbmc experience, I don't know about other users?

Just wanted to give another shout out to say thank you to Big_Noid for such an amazing skin.
I love keeping an eye on this thread as it always seems to stay so positive and productive. Not like some of the other threads I see that get washed out with complaints and "you need to do this" or "why did you do that" remarks. To me this is the sign of a truly dedicated following and extremely skilled coder.
Thanks should go out to everyone that contributes whether they are submitting bug reports, constructive criticism or features requests. Everyone in this thread has helped shape Aeon Nox into what it is today but the biggest congrats goes out to Big_Noid for remaining so dedicated to this project, always on top of bugs and continuously adding new features as well as finding time to answer what seems like everybody's questions and posts.

That's called extra fanart, right? It's been on my to-do list for quite some time now, so it will get in the skin at some point.
ok where is the link to it i cant seem to find it. and also hw come on the music visulation screen (when music is playing) the now playing banner (see through one) there is no Pause indicator when you puase the song. kinda annoying i was thinking change the track numbers to a blinking pause symbol or something

And yes, I know. The first screenshot doesn't show the Nox but the Neon skin. That's because it's not from me. But since it shows the exact same problem as I have - no pictures that is - I thought I might aswell use it

Not sure how to help you till you post a debugging log. I use the lastest Nox 1.3 release and both poster or banners work for me.
