I apologize if this has been asked but I see on the main screen I can set a rotating fan art to be the backdrop for "Video" when I navigate the home screen is it possible that I can do the same for "Movies" and "TV Shows" instead of the default?

this isnt a stable release it says in the first post also and that i have to have the nightly build as of august 30th or something.
this is the command i ran to install:
install XBMC using nitoTV or with:
# apt-get install org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2
is the aeon nox repository not in this version of xbmc?
edit: just checked, i have the latest version of xbmc. what gives?

If it says in setting->hardware->summary: xbmc pre-11.0: [build date: YYYYMMDD, Compiled:....] you will problably have the latest.
It is not yet released for the latest versions of XBMC. It's up to Big Noid when he thinks it's ready for an update.
The easiest way is to use the 3rd party repository (download and choose 'install from zipfile').

I really like the "movie information" part of the aeon nox skin. Would it be okay for me to use that particular part of your skin and incorporate that into another skin? If so, how lengthy of a process would that be? I have not done any skins of my own, so I'm not sure what I should be looking for. I am currently educating myself at the moment just for the specific purpose of adding that particular element from your skin into the confluence skin, if at all possible.
If you don't mind too much, any information would be appreciated.

im inside videos menu and cannot change the view using either the remote or keyboard. been attempting this for about an hour off and on but nothing will bring back up the side menu where i can change the view. what is that menu called and how can i bring it back up?

It's called the MediaMenu. The view you have is 'Poster View' and to get the menu hit UP one or two times (depends if the movie has a trailer or not). I see that your library is not yet what it should be like. Images missing and so..

I really dislike the RSS feed and have it disabled on Aeon Nox. Recently, when listening to music or Last.fm, I get scrolling text about the band/artists where the RSS feed would have been. Can I disable this? Its very distracting.

This was just fixed today. So for Dharma it will be in the bug fix release. It's also fixed for pre-eden.

i saw to disable the kiosk last night finally but i had found the settings in system under the skin where i could disable certain views and i disabled all of them but the ones i knew (any list view and wall). i think it didnt take effect though until i restarted the atv this morning bc it's back to the view i can actually read. no more poster view for me lol
the view you saw in the screen shot was not my library but the main folder where it shows you files, add source, and whatever sources you have added. bc it was in poster view i could not see what i was choosing until i went into it.

Question about home menu. I have selected to show next tracks when music is playing in home screen. This works but not if MUSIC, MOVIES or TV SHOWS is selected in that home menu. Also after a few seconds the menu bar will dissapear showing track progress in stead and that tracklist will stay hidden if the wrong menu option was shown.
As I play music mostly the default selection in home menu is music, thus not showing next tracks untill I scroll to another menu option.
Other way of explaining: When in home menu if I scroll to and highlight (not select) PICTURES then I will see next 10 tracks, I can keep scrolling the home menu untill I hit MUSIC, MOVIES or TV SHOWS - then next tracks dissapears untill I am over a new menu item that is not one of these three.
My settings are minimal, no tv show next aired, no video info so clueless why this happens. I double checked there is also nothing else appearing on screen when "next tracks" dissapears.

Is it possible to view trailers in the carousel view? Up shows the menu and down switches between 2D to 3D view, but I can't get trailers working. (Or is it because I have the trailer addict add-on enabled?).

Actually, they're almost identical. I have my xbmc portable and I noticed that when you set a path to animated weather icons, weather wallpapers, multi image tvshows, movies, or stuff like that, the relative path get translated into a hardcoded path. Instead of home or special, it lists the full path which means it's broke when you run you portable xbmc from a different location.
Other small question: In the home window customizer there's an option to set the music wallpaper to "Fanart". Can this option be added for TV Shows and Movies too?
