Smobbo Wrote:Ah, i thought it was included in the latest version (which would be weird ;P).
Anyhow, i've installed it and now i can choose the most relevant option, however on my homescreen it doesn't show any shows. It is just an empty list...
I have a few new episodes and also a few which i've seen halfway, so it should be populated right?

If you have version 0.0.3 of the script installed, you have to update to latest git to get it to work. If you are using passion repo, wait till tomorrow.

Random question regarding music:

Is there an option to turn visualization on if there's no artist fanart?

If not, is it possible to implement it?

Big_Noid Wrote:You have to set the location in weather plus add-on settings. This will break the xbmc location changer, so that's why I removed it for now from the weather settings.

The issue I think a lot of people are seeing where they get no current conditions with Weather Plus is down to the fact that the script believes the 'selected location' setting from the XBMC GUI.

So if you have three entries in the XBMC Weather GUI settings and have previously selected 'location 2' as where you are / what you want to see, unless you also have an entry in the Weather Plus specific settings for 'location 2' the Weather Plus script ignores any Alternative Provider setting and falls back to weather.com.

The quick fix is to hack the relevant bit of guisettings.xml to look like

Code:
<weather>
        <areacode1></areacode1>
        <areacode2></areacode2>
        <areacode3></areacode3>
        <currentlocation></currentlocation>
        <script></script>
        <scriptsettings></scriptsettings>
    </weather>

And then set up Weather Plus. Not ideal.

Thanks, this worked like a charm!

@BigNoid

These maybe script issues however you have more knowledge of that.

The in-progress widget for movies is great however if you have less than 5 movies in progress it gets a bit ugly with the default images showing IMO.

Also at start up they are empty because the script hasn't filled the spots yet. You can also only exit the list by using BACKSPACE.

When you leave the tv show watchlist on a episode it still shows that thumb in the widget which is great. However when you leave on an empty spot it also stays empty. Maybe only selectable if they are filled with an episode/tvshow

Should be fixed now. Looks better indeed, altough because it's a wrap list it still gets populated with the same icons. Maybe I'll try a fixed list how that looks. The list widget is already how it should be.

EDIT: fixed list looks better, changed it to that.

Thanks 'Zero. I was looking for a bit where XBMC stored the Weather locations. Since you can't change them to None in the settings screen.

Cleared those settings out in guisettings.xml, Setup WeatherPlus with the alternate providers and all appears to be working now. Was getting weird errors before clearing out the default XBMC settings.

Maybe not ideal, but a simple enough solution to a problem outside our control. Thanks Big_Noid for being so damn quick with keeping the skin as up-to-date as a skin could possibly be.

Bug report - lukenukem - 2011-11-08

I'm running the latest nightly beta for AppleTV2. Below are the logs of a crash in the BannerPlex view of TV Series, after browsing for a while.
The XBMC Log is quite long, so it might be good to know the crash occurred at the end of the file.

XBMC Log | AppleTV2 Crash Log

The latter was named LowMemory-2011-11-08-155349.
I'd guess a crash because of insufficient memory would explain why XBMC crashes after I've navigated through enough series, and not immediately on performing a specific action.
But then again, what do I know Smile

Main Menu customizable - BigNoid - 2011-11-08

I added new functionality today. Everything on the main menu is now customizable. You can disable or enable everything and add up to 5 smart playlists in the submenu under a custom smart playlist item and 5 favorites under a custom favorite item.
The favorite and playlists shortcuts in the skin settings are now obsolete and removed.
I haven't tested every single menu item, so help with that and feedback on the new functionality is greatly appreciated.
You must have the script.playlists to be able to select smart playlists for the main menu: http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/eden-pre/script.playlists/

Available now in git :cool2::
