They still work here.

I have set the view mode for the Advanced Launcher program to Shift. The problem is I'm now completely unable to change it, since the menu on the left (not entirely sure on it's proper name, lol) will not show up no matter which arrow I press (left/right scroll the element, up doesn't do anything, down goes to the scrollbar).. Is there a way to force the menu to open, or, alternatively, to reset the view mode to default? :/

Fixed now, thanks! :p

I always read the changelog before updating Nox, and I usually get it. But this time I had a little "wait ... wut?" moment. Huh

How do you enable the "CD Wall" visualization?

I went back through this thread and saw it is in 'Full Screen Options' but I can't seem to find that. I am using XBMC Eden Beta 1.

while in the music visualization window hit ENTER. at the top of the screen the option bar should appear.

Disable music viz and then in options you can enable cd wall

Could be that yours looks a bit different because i disabled the OSD buttons.

Yeah passion repo uses got commit comments as changelog. They are not really meant as changelog.
Anyway, that means that if the watchlist script is not running, it will run when you open the "featured" menu item.

I miss some textures... for example the grey color behind the home menus. Tried SVN from passion but also with the official (??) 2.0 build from xbmc repo I have this problem.

Any idea what i wrong and what i can do about it?

Did a restart help?

No it didnt. ATM im also a little bit confused which is the latest build. Passion, GIT or offical 2.0?

I also tried deleting Textures.db and restart the whole thing. Will it help to remove guisettings.xml? Although i would like to avoid that....

Git is always the very latest/newest.
Passion's are build from git once a day or so.
Official 2.0 is considered the stable release.

Doubt if removing guisettings.xml would help.
Passion will install it in skin.aeon.nox.svn so that will maybe cause troubles.
Remove both skin.aeon.nox and skin.aeon.nox.svn from the add-on folder and install it again from what you are using normally.

I had the same problem with my compiled build from xbmc master branch. For some reason XBMC would crash when on 99% unzipping the skin and there would be a missing textures.xbt.
I later compiled from eden branch and that fixed it.

You can always manually unpack the zip from here to get it to work:

Had the same with MQ3

for me the problem was with unpacking, so there would be no textures.xbt. this seems like a corrupt textures.xbt.

After a restart no problems any more. Saw some other ticket about the same corruption from somewhere else.

But like you said, reinstalling usually helps.

- lowfi - 2011-12-25

Ok solved. I also had the error when unpacking. In fact xbmc(live) locked up...
