That's good to know and I'm using Frodo so that shouldn't be the problem either. Looking at my xbmc.log, here is what I see when I try to launch PseudoTV: Code: 12:54:05 T:6188 NOTICE: -->Python Interpreter Initialized<-- Any ideas what this means? Looking at my xbmc.log, here is what I see when I try to launch PseudoTV: did you install the stable-pre or did you install the release version? stable-pre is for frodo, release is for eden. RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - tommymsw - 2013-09-26 Does anybody know about getting this to work with Gotham? I am just not sure if that is in the works or not. Now I'm running into a different problem. I went through all of my playlist channel settings and set order to "random". This mixes the media up a little bit, but I'm getting repeated shows constantly. It's kinda like this:Episode A, Episode G, Episode B, Episode A, Episode F, Episode G, Episode A. I cannot figure out how to truly shuffle my media to where it will always randomize the entire collection. Hey guys, Anyone know what could solve this issue? I posted this a bit ago and I still haven't heard any suggestions. Thanks in advance RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - spanktastic2120 - 2013-09-26 (2013-09-26, 10:30)xkudeki Wrote:(2013-09-06, 12:53)xkudeki Wrote: Ok guys, thanks to you all who helped me, I finally got my EPG to quit deleting channels. Make a smart playlist for each show that grabs x episodes, where x is the number of episodes you have for the show with the least episodes, that way each show has the same number. Set the order for all of those to random. Then make another smart playlist where all the rules are just that it contains the other playlists. I had the wrong version installed. Right version starts fine. Looks like an amazing addon, I can't wait to spend more time playing with it. I cannot figure out how to truly shuffle my media to where it will always randomize the entire collection. The show in particular is The Big Bang Theory. I have it set to a smart playlist to play the entire season as a channel. I keep running into the problem that the same 5-10 episodes are constantly being recycled. RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - tommymsw - 2013-09-27 I have the same problem in playlists. They are the same few shows over and over and also "random" never makes it "random", they seem to be often in order, episode 1,2,3,etc RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - spanktastic2120 - 2013-09-27 Ok thats an easy solution then. Make a smart playlist with type=episodes, tv show=big bang theory, season=# (where # is whatever season you want) and then set it to no limit and random order. It will only fetch episodes from that season and shuffle them randomly, when episodes repeat it will be because the season is repeating as a whole. PTV should remake the channel every time you reach the end of the playlist, so youll get a new random list every time you exhaust the first. RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - TroyDe - 2013-09-28 How to disable subtitles? I've searched but the searches come up with others asking the same question. RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - AgentCj007 - 2013-09-29 Thanks for the Awesome add on! I got a question, I have a custom playlist channel, with 2 shows. Even though i set the ordering in the smart playlist as none and set a custom channel rule as "Force Random" i am still getting this order- Show1Ep1: Show1Ep2: Show1Ep3: Show2Ep1: Show2:Ep1: Show2:Ep3 and so on. Thats not what force random does. Force random causes your playlist to start at a random point every time you start it up. If you want the shows randomized then set the order to random in the playlist. I just got a new hard drive 4tb and I put all my movies on it. TV shows are on another hard drive. I removed the sources from the old drives and added the new drives. All of my movies and tv shows show up. Now, when I start PseudoTV it says playback failed. One or more items failed to play. What do I need to do to get this program working again?
