I recently deleted a bunch of movies of low quality, updated my library, rescanned, and cleaned...the library looks great....the tv manager app shows all the correct movies....but psuedo tv';s guide still shows up with old movies...can someone help me please...

"force channel reset on next start"
3rd option in the settings

RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - druiz - 2014-02-21

Doh ...Thanks for this.

I am thinking of switching over to the PSeudo TV Live fork soon...I plan on getting an OTA antena/hd home run and it says you can integrate those into that fork....the problem is that I dont think it supports the PseudoTV Manager app...the app is literally the only way I have enjoyed setting up pseudo tv. Do anyone have any ideas?

RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - druiz - 2014-02-22

One more thing i need help with I would like to have a channel that only plays a set of series(Big Bang,How I met Your mother, and two and a half men)...when i use the smart playlist it only displays file name and not scraped name...is there a work around

RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - GuyDanger - 2014-02-24

I've searched the interwebs with no result so I figured Id ask here.

I've got pseudotv working almost perfectly in my setup. But for the life of me, I can't figure out why episode info and names are not coming up in the guide when creating playlist TV channels. Playlist movie channels and Network TV channels are fine. But playlist TV channels are having an issue. Has anyone else run into this?

Running Windows version on Windows 7 OS.

Thanks guys,

Guy

Wow! That's a lot of channels, can you share your complete TV list? I need some ideas for new channels and names.

Thank you!

RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - billiam - 2014-03-03

I had success installing the latest and greatest a few weeks ago on a Gotham nightly, but upon updating to last night's nightly, pseudoTV fails to install with a "Dependencies not met" error. I enabled logging and here is what it's complaining about:

requires xbmc.python version 2.0 which is not available

Any ideas?

I also just tried to install on gotham beta1 ATV2 and is says dependencies not met

RE: [RELEASE] PseudoTV Addon: Virtual EPG and TV Channel Surfing Script - lzep - 2014-03-07

I have this shortcut to run PseudoTV from my home screen

PTV Button

PseudoTV
<onclick>XBMC.runscript(script.pseudotv)</onclick>

Is there a way to modify the onclick action so that it resets the channels without having to go into settings and selecting "Force Channel Reset"

I tried <onclick>XBMC.runscript(script.pseudotv,ForceChannelReset=true)</onclick> but it just loaded normally.

in PTV settings just set "time between channel resets" to "every time"

Thanks, but what I'd like to do is have two links on the home screen, one that you click that would run PseudoTV regularly, and one you would click to run PseudoTV with a channel reset.

This runs PseudoTV regularly: <onclick>XBMC.runscript(script.pseudotv)</onclick>

What would it be to run it with a reset?

Thats not possible, it doesnt reset based on a parameter you pass it. It looks in your settings file and determines if its time for a reset. The "force reset on next start" option gets saved to your settings file.

You would need to change the "false" to "true" in the settings file, then start PTV.
The only xbmc built-in function that could do that is this one:
Code:
Addon.OpenSettings(id) Open a settings dialog for the addon of the given id
So you would need to somehow do that command, then set it to force reset yourself, and then when the dialog closes somehow launch another command to run the addon.

You're better off learning some python and modifying the addon to accept an argument to force reset.
