Hi, is there any particular reason why MMS streams are disabled/don´t work in the ATV2 builds?

Because you haven't submitted a patch to fix them yet? Smile

When stuff makes the 'confirmed missing/broken' section of the 1st post it's because nobody has had a chance to fix it yet, or something else someone fixed broke it. Everything will eventually be ported, but this process is not overnight, esp since this is a brand new architecture, have patience if you want to run stuff that's still very very early on the development cycle.

Please everyone, try to refrain from posting in this thread about stuff that is confirmed. We know about it already.

If you had new info to add, great! Otherwise if you want to ask a general question about xbmc-ios, search in the sub-forum to make sure nobody else has answered it already. There's a 'search this forum' option in the upper right hand corner of the main index of xbmc-ios.

And if anyone knows anyone who can code and lend a hand in this project I'm sure Davilla and Amet would encourage the help. Smile

Quote:Sleep timer still set to never on exit?

I've made a build after commit 41af1760cde4b5ace1ae today. And it seems that the Sleep timer is reset to the previous value fine.

Quote:XBMC doesn't load sometimes after 1st launch out of sleep. 2nd works. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=92038

This issue is fixed also in this build.

So you can move this 2 things up to the "FIXES INCLUDED SINCE RELEASE" - section Smile

thx to the devs

ciao

can we get hold of this build?

There's been a bunch of checkins last night/this morning. I will hold off until the evening (when I get home from work) to do a new build.

Yes - i think we should stay on meshugas builds for not creating chaos here Smile. I just wanted to mark some "bugs" as closed Wink

Regarding GUI speed optimization, what's keeping it from being smooth, skins graphics need to be optimized? what a "designer" can do to help?

I'm not sure if you can change anything design related with the current skin, but one thing that XBMC needs is a touch-optimized skin for ipad, iphone, etc.

Agreed. Probably best to not update the closed list until the build linked to in this thread has the fixes in it.

Definitely looking forward to not having to launch XBMC twice every time the ATV2 wakes up. Not that I don't have the 5 seconds to waste but hey... progress is progress.

New build for ATV2 and iOS are up! I ended up having time to finish it.

I concur with Memphiz, both the Sleep Timer and 1st Launch bugs have been fixed in the latest build (020311). Off to the fixed list they go.

Thx for the build.

Thanks Meshuga,

I´ll try to see if the buffering problem is better.

Werther

I too can confirm that the startup twice bug no longer exsists in this latest build and my sleep settings are being remembered, great work meshuga.

Increase in buffering so far here. I'll throw some more files at it tonight but may revert back to 2/1 to compare tomorrow. One file in particular that was fixed with 2/1 is back to buffering every 30 seconds or so.
