Hi,

I did the two apt-get commands today but I am not getting any update from the 19th... When I go to System Info it says that it was built on the 17th. Has the 19th build not been posted?

Smile My major issue is the buffering that keeps coming up! Hope it's a priority cause it really makes the device unusable.

I am still having some issues with buffering but I have downgraded from the most current stable release to the nightly build on page 1 and find that works better. I have some issues with some files but everything seems to work much better.

same problem here, had been working a lot smoother before (using smb). i now get buffering on 300mb xvid files, before they had been running w/o any problems.

My download links in the 1st post work again, BUT it's still the build from the 17th, so the official from the 19th/20th is the better build.

As many of you noticed, I lost a server over the weekend. While I hope it returns I am doubtful, so I've put the files up on another box, but slower than the last.

If youre running the unofficial and want to upgrade 'ipkg-update && ipkg-upgrade'.

I do have a new build coming today! I'm unsure of what time, but hopefully be early evening, after I give it out to some testers in the irc channel.

I will be including all commits up to this point (so Dazex's fixes for ir mapping so Harmony remotes should work now) and also this fix for Confluence that amet linked me:

Yup, I put up the new builds. Originally when you posted that it didnt have the Confluence fix I posted earlier, now that's been corrected.

This should have the downmixing to 2.0 problem solved too, so please someone test that.

Newest build still didn't fix my smb issues Sad (Had hope since it talked about audio buffering).

(Also Keith, the front page links to the 2/17/2011 build, not 2/27/2011)

Ok sound is much better, but i see a new problem now instead of buffering, the video will now slow down to like 5 fps the movie keeps playing but it's unwatchable, instead of stopping and buffering it slows down to crawl, first time i ever see this, and i am pretty sure it has to do with a change in the code, so hope that helps
