NFS mount on AppleTV - pbrille - 2011-03-10 Hi, is there a way to mount NFS shares statically into the filesystem? I don't want to use the XBMC SMB Client. Thx - yabbiman - 2011-03-10 Wish it was true. SMB sucks! - pbrille - 2011-03-10 In the meantime I found this, but I did not try it, yet... http://wiki.awkwardtv.org/wiki/Mount_a_Remote_Drive_via_NFS - newsilentsilver - 2011-03-10 pbrille Wrote:In the meantime I found this, but I did not try it, yet... Isn't it for AppleTV 1 only? - pbrille - 2011-03-10 I guess it's only for AppleTV 1 since I get the following error, when I try to execute mount_nfs: Quote:-sh: /sbin/mount_nfs: Bad CPU type in executableI tried both 10.4.9 combo update file and 10.6.6 combo update file... Is there any other way to mount a remote filesystem into e.g. /Volumes/xxxx? It's because all my other xbmc devices uses mysql library and therefore the remote filesystems is always mounted in /Volumes/xxxxx - davilla - 2011-03-10 Closing because you guys are not paying attention and searching. It's NOT possible to enable ANY other filesystem mounting on ATV2. Search if you want to know why. |
