ben33400 Wrote:after installing the last nightly, I lost XBMC in lowtide !!

update commands I used:
Code:
wget http://hadm.net/xbmc/latest_atv2.deb
dpkg -i latest_atv2.deb
rm latest_atv2.deb

any clues ?
What log must I post for that ?

Message: failed to allow loading of appliance /Applications/AppleTV.app/Appliances/XBMC.frappliance

im exactly the same, xbmc now missing off front row, its a bad build

I change to this version:
http://hadm.net/xbmc/ae/org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2_10.0-9_iphoneos-arm.deb

it works but I have to delete guisettings.xml to have the sound back.

If you do this test - please use the same JB method on both iOS versions (suggesting seas0npass).

Sorry, I just wanted to help. And by the way, I cannot downgrade.
Anyway, I did a complete reinstall with no avail before the upgrade.
Nevermind.

Memphiz is doing a build for me, I'll replace it shortly.

Thanks Keith, your hard work and dedication continues to be appreciated, looking forward to installing this tonight.

Can you advise as to whether this nightly addresses the mysql issues or does that still remain outstanding?

Don't install this build yet, no XBMC in Lowtide...

Looking forward to checking it out Smile

Ok, new build up again, courtesy of Memphiz this time.

http://hadm.net/xbmc/

He's added gestures!

Gestures for ios are mapped as follows:
- double finger swipe left -> back
- double finger tap -> right mouse
- single finger tap -> left mouse
- panning, and flicking
- panning and flicking works for lists only at the moment ... scrollbars and stuff are only clickable (single tap), for now - solution for this will follow in some days i guess ...

ATV2 is also replaced. Let us know if there's any problems.

I'm not sure about the mysql bug. I'm going to do some testing tonight and re-create my db which have been broken for awhile.

Thanks for the update.
Unfortunately, it crashes when I try to launch a movie.

log: http://pastebin.com/6r7R3dVG

Is it possible to have the 6 june version back (if I remember the date) ?

- R0MSTER - 2011-07-06

Mine works but it's stuttering with any movie i play, debug here:

Nope, don't have that build still, these are the ones I have:

Thanks ! The last working for me (dolby included) Is 18th of june. It is the one there was until today ?

There seems to be a problem with the iOS link:

http://hadm.net/xbmc/latest_ios.deb

It returns "Unknown.html"
The ATV link works fine. Thanks for all the hard work!

Edit:
I was able to use download the iOS version using a Windows 7 box. Safari (under Snow Leopard 10.6.8) doesn't like the link, however.

The gestures on the iPad 2, while not perfect, are a huge improvement. Overall, the iPad 2 is running XMBC quite well, playback even of 720 mkv files is working smoothly.

Thanks again!

The new build is much better things are improving very quickly, dirty regions bug seems to be fixed. A few graphical erros are still present like using the menu bar in the home screen, but the menu now works.

The build seems alot quicker, and selecting movies from list is so much easier. Movies play fine for me no stuttering at all, though I have had a couple of crashes in the menu. It now feels more like the xbmc from my desktop now.

Thanks to all.

To enable dirty regions I'm not sure if you still have to edit advancedsettings.xml with :-

Code:
<gui>
    <algorithmdirtyregions>1</algorithmdirtyregions>
</gui>

But I've left it in mine.
