Silverstone case + Zotac Board + OpenElec
#1
Hi,

not sure if asking here is good or if i should go over to OpenElec Forum, but just trying Wink

I have a Silverstone case with IMON LCDisplay and Remote Control (this one).
Inside my cool Zotac board with everything needed on it is working.

Currently running Dharma patched with PVR support on Windows 7, but I'd like to switch over to OpenElec as I heard so much positive about it.
I use TVHeadend as TV backend on an extra server (which is running Ubuntu).

Now some questions...and I want to say i dont want a manual, but just opinions and perhaps responses if somebody has running such a setup successfully.
- Can PVR support be integrated into OpenElec?
- Does OpenElec support the LCD (on/off/information)?
- Does the RC work (and can it be customized)?

I came across this thread on openelec.tv

You can try one of these builds:

Don't know about the remote and LCD, I think you're better off asking at openelec forums.

MANY thanks.

I had time to try OpenElec.tv yesterday.
Installed from USB stick onto USB HD ... nice Smile
It's impressing fast and kind of easy to use.

WIFI is not running yet and the LCD stays black but my remote works out-of-the-box.

Did not try the PVR builds, but will do that next.
