I sometimes run my XBMC in a maximized window, but I like to run it completely full screen as well.
My problem is when I run it completely full screen, the DVD covers/fan art/etc... loads very very very slowly. The only difference between the two is you can see the start menu at the bottom when it's windowed, other than that they are pretty much the same size.
I don't understand why it loads them so slowly! It runs perfectly fine when windowed.
