So XBMC for A10 is definitely dead with the current sources / blobs ?

Until Allwinner changes their mind. Yes.

Well, they're taking notice ... I just received this from them via email:

Quote:Hi Sir,

First of all, thank you very much the whole community and each of you who
are paying a close attention to Allwinner and our chipset A10. We have
received
tuns of emails from you guys asking for further technical support on XBMC.
We
will review closely and feedback to you asap.

Yep, I've responded to the questionnaire highlighting how much more interested I'd be in their devices should XBMC be a success.

Same here. Sent back, told them they don't know what they are missing.

If they are in China it's nearly 10:30pm, you probably wont get a response for at least 10 hours Smile

Maybe this has not been here yet and I know it is not A10, but Mali400....

For Telechips TCC892x (used in CX-01 mini PC, Zero Devices Z900, ValuePlus TizzBird N1, Diyomate A6 Network Media Player, etc...) linux kernel source code and android ICS open source code (webkit + OpenMAX source code) are available.

Unfortunately these devices haven't lots of output ports, but could be used to run XBMC... and CX01 is around 50$...

I hope XBMC will run on lots of arm devices in the very near future... )

Emailed, fingers crossed they change their mind.

I also said they are missing out on a big business opportunity, in the future whenever someone asks can tablet or set top box x,y,x run XBMC an Allwinner item would be in a better position so they are leaving money on the table to their competitors.
