OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi
I also updated to 12485 and lost keyboard functionality. I am using a Dell USB keyboard that worked with my previous OpenELEC install (12350). I installed RaspBMC on a second SD card out of curiosity, and while the keyboard worked on boot-up, after the screensaver kicked in, the keyboard quit working.
CPU usage is through the roof with r12485 as well; mine doesn't drop below 100% at any point, whereas previously it would idle at around 20.
Can someone confirm that pressing OK/select on the remote activates the OSD instead of circling thru available aspect ratios?

Confirmed. Same issue on r12457. I hope that's a bug not a new feature Smile

Mine (512mb pi) is sitting at 85% idle (using top via ssh) where it was 20% before.

I did a completly fresh download and build and updated my sd card as usual. I can get no keyboard respose or indeed IR. Its a bog standard keyboard which has been working fine up til now

Lirc GPIO patch was working for me in 12457 as well as in 12473. It requires some configuration though.

Confirm.

RPI build 12485 always 100% Cpu usage (Menus and movies).

RPI 256MB.

I never had issues with the wireless keyboard when it was already connected during the boot, including r12473. However xbmc doesn't pick up the keyboard when it's attached after xbmc was already started. Killing xbmc.bin helps and it works after xbmc restart...

i noticed the same on my RP 512 mb went and compiled r12485, but since i don't need most of the stuff in the options file i turned them off and cpu usage went to normal in my build, so this issue seems to me to be a problem in some addon, sensors or some openelec setting that was added recently.

Do you mean the lirc gpio worked out of the box with 12457 assuming lircd.conf and Lircmap.xml correct. Ive had Arons gpio patch working fine for ages by manually patching. Does it show up as registered in dmesg output ?

No addons, no fanarts. Still always 100% cpu usage (GUI and movies). Movies HD is not watchable and still pausing. Im back to build 12457 and everything is PERFECT. Official bulid 12473 100% Cpu usage issues to.

Also, info key doesn't work either.

I was checking that out last night the Key is actually being processed, the action is not. for example if i change to <blue>OSD</blue> nothing happens but if i change to <blue>XBMC.ActivateWindow(Home)</blue> it does this action right. EDIT:
Nevermind, what i was looking for was ContextMenu, dunno if that does the same thing as OSD because it was what the key that has OSD did...
<blue>ContextMenu</blue> when on a list to show the popup menu
This use 100% Cpu.

/usr/lib/xbmc/xbmc.bin --standalone -fs --lircdev /var/run/lirc/lircd
