Okay some options:

Always do resume
Always start from beginning
Add another option for behaviour (dislike adding options)

Seems there is no option for same library behaviour that you get asked first. Will ask if this is intentional or a bug

Does this problem happen because of the new method to play the files with .Play? Because it worked as expected before with PlayMedia.

It definitely works using <onclick>PlayMedia($ESCINFO[Window(home).Property(RecommendedMovie.%%.File)])</onclick>.
