How do I change wrongly scraped TV shows?
#1
I'm watching a lot of tv shows. All of them are correctly scraped by xbmc, but two: Scandal (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1837576/) and Shameless US (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1586680/)
Shameless is scraped as his original series Shamelss UK and Scandal is recognized as a Japanese rock band.
I have no clue on how I can change it in XBMC, please help?
TIA

Welcome - taking time to read the wiki may have saved you this issue - see here http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Vid...s/TV_shows and I'd be more inclined to use the TVDB for scraping TV metadata.

Sorry slightly misread your query - don't think there is a way to edit title information until the item has actually been scraped. If you rename your folders correctly (ie exactly as they are in the TVDB), then go to videos\files\Shameless (2012), right click and edit source change the source from IMDB to TVDB, it should pick them up.

I read the wiki. Infact I tried reorganizing my folder structure in TV shows->Scandal->2012->episode 1, episode 2 and so on, but it didn't work so I asked.
I use TVDB scraper, I didn't thougth to lookup un the site for teh correct name, thanks.

This folder structure - TV Shows\Scandal (2012)\s01e01 - would be a better solution and scrapes without issue. In your example you have a superfluous folder level '2012'.

If you use TVDB, why link to imdb?

I hope it's THE solution, because mine isn't working. Tonight I'll give a try and then I'll report.

Because it was the first link from google and I just wanted to identify the shows.
