OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 3 (Kodi 14.0)

Sure, here's the full log although it isn't a debug log.

To explain what I did: I installed Conq from Hitchers 5.0 repo, switched to the Conq skin in Settings -> Appearance, then when I exited from Settings it said something about "building menu" and that's when the error appeared in the log. I don't seem to be able to reproduce it, so it may just be a first-run kind of problem.

Yup, first-run issue. I forget sometimes I still have legacy code (in early builds - which used Gotham list-filling methods - speed was paramount, and (on most systems) it was quicker to try to read a file and fail then handle the error, than bother checking if the file exists). I really must change that Blush. Thanks for the log, though Smile

Popcornmix i see that you reverted "hack: revert squash: don't update originaldts when marked as invalid", and now when there is a glitch in video it takes very long to resume and once it resumes it is like in slow motion once again. Anyway i updated to latest build and enabled dump out audio/video data.. here is a link to zip file containing relevant files https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5174...0Debug.zip . the behavior observed is that video/audio freeze for over 1 minute and then resume but are not smooth and sound is like breaking up. If i revert to the older build (29th) video audio resume correctly a couple of seconds after glitch..

Look in your xbmc.log for errors. I just installed Conq and see the following errors:
Code:

Thanks for your reply. I have reached out to the Conq developer. He is a great guy and am sure he will fix this soon.

(2014-10-01, 12:09)popcornmix Wrote: You can see the orientation flags using identify (from imagemagick)
Code:
$ identify -verbose flipped-rpi.jpg  |grep -i orient
  Orientation: TopLeft
    exif:Orientation: 1

So it looks like this one doesn't have a flipped flag, but probably should.
It may take a bit of digging to work out how the flip flag should get from GUI to jpeg re-encode function, but I'll add it to the list.
Thanks

Now I'm not completely sure if this actually worked in newclock3. As it's working under OS X, I've only looked at xbmc/cores/omxplayer/OMXImage.* (in master) - no recent commits there seem to indicate anything related to image orientation or EXIF at all. These files are unchanged in newclock4, except a log line.

Here everything is working well (and fast Big Grin) besides LiveTV with tvheadend. I'm not sure if it's right to post it here but because tvheadend is working on OE 4.1 I thought it is somehow related to Helix.
When I install tvheadend from XBMC-Repo it gets installed and activated without issues. But the HTSP-client loses connection every time so I read the logs and started up tvheadend manually because it wasn't starting up automatically on boot (no clue why). Now the webfrontend was accessable but with a user and a password which I didn't know. Later I found out that it was because of missing files in /storage/.hts that are controlling the access and which weren't created while tvheadend installation (dont' ask me why). After adding muxes and scanning them nothing was found because of no data delivered by my adapter (which worked well on 4.1). The problem ocurrs for me since I switched back from official 4.1 to Milhouse-builds in mid september.

Regards Shadowghost
I'm currently experiencing stuttering in almost all videos. Stuttering lasts a few (2-7 perhaps?) seconds, and log file fills upp with lines like these during the stuttering:
Code:
DEBUG: CDVDPlayer::OMXDoProcessing Resume 3.08,0.00 (A:00 V:10) EOF:0 FULL:1 T:16.00
DEBUG: OMXClock::OMXSetSpeed(1.00) pause_resume:1

I read somewhere that this could be due to a bad network connection, but I have also tried playing a video straight from my USB drive with the same result.

I have tried changing cache settings:
Code:
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize>
<readbufferfactor>4.0</readbufferfactor>

Since I have updated a few times in the last few days, I tried going back to versions that I KNOW worked, but I'm still seeing the issue. Any ideas?

Here's a complete log file: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=309891
