Can you test this with your DVD menus? It has some fixes that may help.

@popcornmix, i have tested and it's run. Thanks for your help.
Has anyone else noticed any issues with UPnP in the last 10 or so builds?

I have a SMB share to the Pi which in turn the Pi shares over UPnP, it has never been an issue until lately. As I type this I realize the issue must be coming from the SMB share because it happens on the Raspberry and over the Pi's UPnP as well. I will reboot the SMB machine and go from there, so nevermind.

*edit*
The HD is going bad in the NAS, sorry for wasting forum space.

Any testing of "double cache" streams would be useful. There's been a recent "double cache" fix merged, and another (https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/5808) is in this build.

I believe "double cache" is used when streaming from internet sites when the filetype is mp4, mkv, avi (i.e. most video types).
I think the bugs are related to stuttering near end of file, or behaviour after a seek.

Any improvements, regressions, or just "still working" comments would be useful.
Not sure if this a bug or a limitation of the Rpi. When viewing Live TV, If I leave it playing and decide to go and have a look at my tv shows or moves, I start to get a beeping noise and images appear as black boxes and eventually crashing, But i return back to live TV it doesnt crash.

@popcornmix - I thought this fixed a problem when scraping tvshows?

@popcornmix - I thought this fixed a problem when scraping tvshows?

Squashed it into the original commit, so it's still there. Need to decide what to do with the season art patch.
Probably keep it in newclock4, but drop it from stable helix tree (helix_rbp_backports). Shame though - seems to work great.
OK thanks (I should have checked!) Yeah, dropping the patch is a shame but if it causes support issues... for the best.

It looks like there is a small problem with my usb wireless in the test builds. My usb wireless device

Code:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 7392:7811 Edimax Technology Co., Ltd EW-7811Un 802.11n Wireless Adapter [Realtek RTL8188CUS]

that was detected in stock 4.2.1 is no longer detected. I checked and the 8192cu driver is still included, and the fix is just to enable the interface in the autostart.sh script:

Code:
#!/bin/sh
(sleep 15; \
/sbin/ifconfig wlan0 up \
)&

I don't remember where the mapping is from usb device to driver, it's probably a simple fix. The same thing is happening in the stock OpenElec beta. Does anyone have any pointers?
