I now only have a quarter of the screen to watch a program. How do I resize the screen please? This is only happening when I use xbmc box. Sorry I am not technically minded.

Kodi formerly called XBMC is software, and it usually is downloaded, not in a box. The screen size would first be set by the O/S of the equipment you are using, then XBMC home page would be set in the settings>system>video as to full screen or windowed mode, there is also a setting in the OSD whihc gives you options to resize each video. For all this to work properly your display should be fired up prior to these adjustments to enable some handshaking to take place as to the limitations of your display.
